So I'm relatively new to vaping only been doing it about 3 weeks now. So far analog free. Plus i won an eVic from a Facebook contest so I have a great mod to start out with. Anyway on to my question, I just ordered some new juices from MBV and it seems to me like everyone of them has great flavor but a very harsh TH. Not sure if they need to steep or if it's just me. My normal all day vape is five pawns Bowden's Mate, which i absolutely love. The nicotine level is 12mg which is what i normally use. But the throat hit makes all 5 flavors almost impossible to vape, just looking for any suggestions to make them smoother. Thanks in advance.

I have heard the mbv ejuices need aging time to taste as intented. I have only ordered DIY supplies from them, not any of their pre-made.
Lots of members do like them tho.
If you don't think they need to age(taste ok to you except the harsh throat hit) then you could try a couple drops of vg and a couple of drops of distilled water to try to tone it down some. Shake very well before use. Do NOT put too much in at first. Also, try them out first and decide if more is needed. If you do use more then the flavor and the nic content will be diluted. You can always add to the mixture, but once it is in there, you can't get it back out. This is why I suggest going at it slowly.
Hope this helps a little.

I'm not sure if it's the nicotine or not, like I said i'm using 12mg just like always with my nicotine levels. Although I have read that MBV products do need time to "mature" before the flavor is right and since each one of them has a manufacture date of 11/01/13 they are not old at all. I guess I'll just give them a week or so to steep and see what's it like then. As for switching delivery systems I'm still using top coils as I always have but maybe these would be a little smoother out of a bottom coil as they seem not to have as much of a throat hit. They are mostly fruit flavors cherry, orange etc. not sure if that has any effect on the TH or not like I said still pretty new to the whole vaping scene.

I am also new to vaping. I ordered about 10 different e-juices from the same vendor to try them out. Different blends had a different TH.
I also notice adjusting the voltage/wattage would noticeably affect the TH. Less of either yields less TH.
I have read PG gives more TH and VG gives more vapor. My mixes are 60/40 respectively and the TH is about right on many of the blends.
It appears a number of factors can influence the TH.

I'll have to try to use some VG to make it smoother, I'm using 50/50 at the moment with all my new juices and i've tried adjusting the voltage of my eVic and even at low voltage i can't inhale more than a second or two before it chokes me up the TH is so harsh. With a couple of my juices i'm using an rda I got from a friend but I've used it prior to this with a 66/33 PG VG blend and never had a TH like this. Even tried it in an iclear 16 which normally mutes the flavor a little and it still has a very harsh TH to it.

Are you inhaling directly to your lungs or taking the vapor into your mouth before inhaling? Direct inhaling can be very harsh.
