Curious, what is a good sign that your nic level on your juice is too high? I have been vaping some (....ty) juice in a Vivi Nova ghettoed onto a Blu battery (sucks) until the postal aervice decides I need my Ego and Protank 2. Most is weighing in at 24 mg, with one at 18 and another at 16, all sweet / fruit vapes. I cough on most decent sized hits, and the vape seems pretty hard to me. I was thinking it could be a combo of the nic, crappy tank, and more than crappy power source resulting in harsh hits and possibly inhaling unvapes juice. Does this logic seem sound? I am hunting for 12mg juice locally (Nebraska, no shops), and I am an under a POD smoker currently on Camel menthol silvers, if that helps narrow down the issue. Ratios are 50/50 and 80/20, with one unknown.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think it could be everything you named except the nic. Whenever I vaped too much or too high in the past it always gave me a headache or made me nauseous. The harsh hits could be the faulty equipment as well as the pg/vg mix or even your vaping technique. By that I mean trying to vape like you're smoking a real cig. There is a technique to vaping. Hope more people come along with help soon.

PAD Camels. mmm 18mg should give you no issues, but sounding like you have several issues going on. I was a pack and half a day Marlboro smoker, so currently I am vaping 18 and 12mg liquids depending on my needs, just to vape, or to chain vape. I keep a couple 24mg liquids around for quick fixes. So try just 18 and the 24 for after eating, emergency vape, etc.

1) That vivi may be being to under powered on that blu if it is a standard resistance coil. 2.2-2.5ish ohms or higher, 3.3-3.7 volts and low amps not going to push it real well.
2) The 50/50 juices should be fine, the 80/20 is going to be strong, PG (First number) increase throat hit along with nic level of the liquid.
3) You may be having reaction to the PG or flavorings, try a 30/70 to 100VG see how that handles when you get your new devices in.

1)Hard TH but not becosue the juice is burning or you vape low ohm at high volt.
2)general head buzz that want go away , you feel like you smok until
3) you feel nausea with non easy filling similiar to over does of coffee.
4) you want to sleep to soon then you were use to.
All this or part of this may alert you to lower the nic Level.
Try 12mg and if it's do the work there is no need to use higher Nic level.
Cheers

Definitely wondered about the pg, as it seems the only liquid i got along with was what was left in the Blu carts, which is solid vg. I know power is a factor here as well, i basically just used the Blu batt as a trial to convince the wife that I needed better gear, lol. Stupid, but it got me the tank I wanted, and a battery that will get
me by until I can squeeze in a Vamo or similar vv / vw device.

^I feel sorry for you that that would be high you describe the residual effects of nicotine.

Nicotine will make you gag if it's too much for you. Having a 'buzz'/bleh feeling from nicotine is on a fine line of too little or too much. I've been a 24mg/mL user, and I just recently decided to go 18mg on my last 2 different vendor orders... I thought I would enjoy chain vaping more consistently, but I'm not getting that sensation in my chest and lungs that I enjoy from inhaling.

Check your Power/Energy outputs and try other liquids if you have friends or stores you can go to. Once you get everything fine tuned, you'll be consumed by the fire of vaping.

Better to get too high than too low if you're trying to get off cigarettes. You can always add some distilled water or VG from a local hobby shop or pharmacy to reduce nicotine content.

When if feels like too much- put it down. It's not instantaneous like cigarettes. You get far more nicotine smoking cigarettes than vaping, particularly when your new and your technique isn't really perfected.
