Hi All,
I'm anxiously awaiting my Joye 510, which should be arriving next week. A few noob questions, I looked around and couldn't find the answers here.
1) When you "fill" the atomizer(cartomizer), do you just fill it for the vaping session you're planning next, or for the whole day?
2) How much juice(High Nic) do you use for each session or day, I usually smoke 7-10 analogs a day, so I'm trying to equal that?
3) How long will a 30ml bottle of juice last if I equal my 7-10 analogs a day?
4) Does a cart really equate to a pack of cigarettes?
5) Is there a list of "brick and mortar" stores that sell juice and ecigs?

1) I drip on atties. so about 3 drops, then 5 or 6 draws. For carto's, they last me about an hour of constant vapeage. I fill up 3 before I leave the house. One for the drive in, One for the day, and One for the drive home. I carry a little extra juice with me just in case.

2) You get *alot* more nic out of an analog than you will ejuice. I started out at 36+ mg and now im using 16-23. You'll have to vape alot at first to get that nic that you need no matter what MG or percent you go to. I would say for 7-10 a day.. 20ish mg or 2.x% would prolly be fine.

3) I was a pack to 1 1/2 packs a day and a 30 ml bottle lasts me about a week unless im dumping alot of carto's.

4) No.. not even close

5) check the suppliers section for supplier information. In my neck of the woods, the only place that I can drive to to buy ecigs or juice is a smoke shop.

EDIT: There's probably going to be a few people that disagree on a few points, but, your mileage will vary. Its the nature of the beast.

For 7-10 analogs a day you shouldn't need a very high MG juice, and a 510 will work just fine for you. I would suggest a PCC though regardless.

If I were in your shoes I would start off at 20ish MG and if its too much you can dilute it a bit with straight pg or vg and you wont have to worry about losing too much flavor.

A lot of these questions are hard to answer, as a lot of people vape totally differently than how they smoked.

Some people intentionally go with higher nic, so they vape less often. Some people intentionally go with lower nic, so they can vape more.

Most people wind up breaking the "10 drags, put it down for a while" habit of smoking, and instead start taking a couple drags, more frequently. With cigs, you have to "finish" the cigarette. With an e-cig, you don't. So you can stop whenever you feel you've had enough.

Also, nic absorption from vaping seems to be more gradual, so it may not feel exactly like a cig, and the comparison in nic strength to cigs is hard to pin down because of that.

So what I would suggest, is not to compare it to cigarettes at all. You get the hand-to-mouth of smoking, you get to see "smoke," and you get nicotine. That's where the similarity ends.

But addressing your other questions, some people do fill all the carts they need for a day, but most wind up filling as they go. "Topping off," so to speak. You just keep a little bottle of juice with you, instead of carrying around a bunch of carts. It's just as quick to top off, as it is to change the cart.

I am a moderate-to-heavy vaper, and 510 carts last me about 20 minutes. Don't believe those "pack of cigs" claims you see. ;) How long they'll last for you will depend on how you vape. Some people vape so lightly that they last for a few hours, others vape so heavily that they last 5 minutes.

Brick and mortar's that sell good e-cigs are still a rarity. Most e-cigs in stores or at kiosks are basically overpriced junk. Because of that, I am unaware of any list. But, brick-and-mortars that sell good e-cigs are just beginning to pop up, and I'm sure they'll become more common over the next couple years.

Hi - I'm new and have a less powerful PV (M402). I have not used cartos (cartomizers) yet. I've just been topping off carts. I was a 1.5 packs/day lights smoker. I've been using 16-18mg juice (PG or mostly PG).

2 & 3: I've only been vaping for 6 days and smoking no analogs (no cigarettes). I think I've only used about 8-9 ml of 19mg juice. So for me, a 30ml bottle would probably last more than 3 weeks. A more powerful PV like the 510 probably burns through juice faster and delivers bigger drags.

4: No, a cart doesn't equate to a whole pack, especially pre-filled carts which have sometimes evaporated a bit. I top off my cart the equivalent of about every 4 cigarettes - that's before it is empty but I get a better drag when it's fuller. My model has tiny carts compared to many other models. Re cartos - I don't know.

5: Don't know, and you don't want to buy from mall kiosks or 7-11 - those usually either have highly inflated prices or very weak models. But there are plenty of US web suppliers. And there is a big coupon code list of discount codes:
