Hi! :)

So I have been reading the crap out of this forum over the last three+ months of my vaping journey. From frustration with leaky clearomizers, to unsealed batteries that shorted out, to holy crap this e-liquid tastes like hot garbage. I found a wealth of information here already.

**THANK YOU ALL**

Now that I commited that statement to text....I really do need to find some better e-juice in the near future. Oh lord I am rambling already forgive me...

I am looking at a couple different mods to take my vaping to the next level and I must know what experienced vapers have to say about smaller mechanical mods. I seem to be drawn to the 14500 battery models because they are not too bulky.I went and bought a cheap VV passthrough, a tank (which is just ok), and 2.5oHm hybrid drip atty. I am running the atty at 4.7v on my passthrough and it has spoled me. My standard setup just isin't doing it for me anymore.

I need something to take out of the house that will perform like my passthrough does without buying a VV (it just seems unnecessary). Like maybe a PrecisePlus or Legacy Mini, possibly with a "Kick".

Which would you pros prefer.

1:) Mod with a kick and a Standard atty.
2:) Mod with a LR atty.

I vape about 1-1.5ml of juice daily while at work will battery life even be an issue with say a 14500 mod or bigger?

Wow that ended up being way longer than I had anticipated, thanks for hanking in there guys.

Fin.

I can't speak for all 14500 mods but the BB (smaller version of the SB) is a workhorse, tho you can not put a kick with it. I love my BB tho I use the vivi nova tank on it, they look like they where made to go together.

I use lr and while I won't knock a VV, and will get one at some point, the combo of the BB with the lr is awesome.

To be honest i know alot of us have multiple ego twist batteries (i have 5 lol) there just amazing you get your vv in a small package and at 22 bucks give or take and the performance is amazing. A PBusardo Review - eGo Twist - OvaleUSA - YouTube My current setup is a 1.5 hh.357 at 3.7 volts on the ego twist or provari mini clouds of vapor :). hope that helps a bit

Hi Aavani, Welcome to the ECF. Ok on your first question lets work out the numbers... You have a 2.5ohm atty at 4.7volts...... so 4.7vx4.7v/2.5ohms=8.836 watts seems to be your current sweet spot. For that same power output at 3.7 volts you would need to have right around a 1.5 ohm atty...... Hmmmmm.... I am not a giant fan of forcing my batteries to run heavily loaded but some folks swear that it does no real harm, other than shortening your runtime. I prefer to run at higher voltage and higher ohm load to achieve the same power(watt) results.

The smaller 14500 mods are fine if you dont plan on adding a kick to up the voltage, but you are dealing with a battery that generally has about as much reserve time as a standard eGo..... In short it appears to me that a larger battery mod may suit you better. Maybe a silver bullet with a kick? I believe in standard form it works with an 18490 and the kick, but I have never had one nor tried it first hand. I do use an 18490 mod that is VV and can say for a fact it will last me personally about thirteen hours with a 2.8 ohm carto whilst using between 5-8ml of liquid. My 14500 mod makes it about half that time with the same electronics around it. Both mods have AW brand batteries and I use both of them around 5volts , higher(5.5) voltage in the morning, lower(4.7) voltage latenight. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

Hmm so a 14500 mod is a no go with a LR atomizer huh...bummer:( Thank you all for the replies by the way.

I really just need a small bulletproof mechanical mod that is not too bulky and will work fine with a LR drip atomizer so I don't have to a cary a fragile VV. The search continues.

I use lr on my BB which is a 14500, and I will freely admit it does shorten my batteries between charges, but well out of a 750mah the avg vape time is only 7 1/2 hours to start with (yes I know there are 4500's that are 900 mah, but mine currently are 750) and I am still getting 6 to 7 hours of heavy vaping per battery, so while yes it lowers it some, not a lot
