Noob- Sigelei Zmax v5 and Kayfun3.1 clone

Hi guys,
I've been vaping on and off for a little over 2 years now, between crap tanks and what not it has been a struggle to say the least. I've been doing all my research here trying to find exactly what I wanted... I finally made the dive and invested in Sigelei Zmax v5 with a Kayfun 3.1 clone by Hcigar. I'm always up for advice especially since its my first APV and rebuildable tank.

First coil came out at 1.8ohms, 28g kanthal, 11/12 wraps around a 5/64 bit.

Thanks pwheeler, once I decided to go for it I spent days buried in this forum figuring what was best for me... Needless to say I'm very pleased. Excited to get some experience building coils and trying as many as I can.

So far so good, just tinkering with the volts and wattage. Any tips on this would be great...even using the water hose example its just not sinking in very well. It is making a little more sense after a few coils tho.
