Noob TFV4 Mini questions.

So I have a TFV4 Mini. I am still using the premade coils but will be looking to use the RTA piece in the near future. Now I know there is a dual RTA for it but could a dual RTA be built with the single one that comes with the tank? It has 4 screws so is it possible to make two vertical coils? Or one vertical and one horizontal?

If not what would the reasons be? Learning about rebuildables in general so I have been watching a lot of videos. But my knowledge is still lacking obviously.

the main issue I would see is having the real estate for the wires under the screws. Also you need to look at airflow to the coils. I dont have the mini, I have the full size with the dual coil RBA deck. Sadly, I built it but never used it... oops.

I've wanted to get a TFV4 for a while, but in the face of things I have held off. However you've just given me an idea for an RDA build, and for that I thank you.

I am really liking the TFV4 although it is my first and only tank. I am glad something came out of something I have said. Good luck with your idea.

the single coil rta section that comes with the mini kit is nice, i loved the tank but the rta (single or dual) just keeps leaking for me

The only airflow on the single deck is right in the center, so you're pretty much limited to just a single as far as I know. I did build a vertical on it a couple time, but it really isn't worth the hassle in my experience. A simple parallel 7 wrap 24awg kanthal works pretty good for me.

I have the dual, too. I usually just run 7 wrap 24awg kanthals on it, too.
