SO I must say I had never heard of SmokelessImage until I entered and WON 5th place in the recent contest. I want to thank SI for holding an interesting and UNbiased contest on ECF and allowing ALL to participate. I won a 900mah X2 and two of the newer clearo's (with long wicks).

SO know that I got these items for free, but will give an equally unbiased opinion.

I wanted to hate the X2 battery from the second I opened it. I've ONLY used eGo 510 batteries and LR 1.7 Smoktech (filler) cartomizers to this very day. I was so mad when I tried to put the SI clearo on my new eGo-C battery and it wouldn't fit. All of my instincts were pointing to giving this X2 away or putting it deep into my junk drawer.

Man, I gotta say, I am impressed. 100x impressed.

First of all, my eGo 900mah passthrogh that resides at my computer 24/7 was looking beat up and not holding much of a charge after 9 months. BUT It was my workhorse. I've had girlfriends for less time than that eGo batt.

SO, simply put, I loaded the black clearo (that looks so sleek on the black X2) with a "junk" juice I've had for awhile, so if it didn't perform well I'd have no remorse. Well paint me blue and call me Babe, but this thing hits like silk. I dripped about .2ml OVER the 1.6ml line, maybe because it was so easy to fill, but the DRAW on this combination is so good. So good. I have no other words. Vapor is .01% less than my usual 1.7 smoktech, but the flavor is 20% beyond what I've ever gotten from a cartomizer. Plumes of vapor, reguardless. I tried to vape it dry since I read about those problems with the CE2's, but I fully believe the longer wicks shoot juice into the atomizer and completely prevent it. I couldn't do it.

(Needless to say) My old, beat up eGo passthrough is in the back of my junk drawer and I'm filling up the second clearo with VS Frisco as we speak. I haven't broken through the primer yet, but dang does it taste good already. I must admit I've been a stickler for my eGo batts and smoktech cartos, but as far as getting a COMPLETELY SATISFYING vape 2.5 minutes after unpackaging a product, this combo has blown my mind... AND I wanted to HATE IT. I can't stress this enough, I'm grateful for winning a contest and some free swag, but SI really nailed this combo.

The only thing I could complain about would be the 808 threading, but honestly, there are plenty of adapters out there to satisfy you if you happen to have a trove of 510 atty/cartos. Thank you SI, and I'm not proud to admit that when these two clearo's happen to kick out, I will be ordering more. Possibly before they kick out, let me take two more drags :)

Welcome. The x2 is an awesome battery.

Even though it's 808, there are plenty of options. The better devices are available ein 808. SI is even going to carry the bottom coil ce3, which gives even better vapor and flavor than the clearo IMHO. Smokeless image only likes to carry what is proven to work. There are so many delivery devices out there, and many are garbage.

I try to explain to people all the time that the x2 is better than the ego since it is 3.6-3.7v and the ego is only 3.3-3.4. The little difference in power leads to awesome vape. And like you said, if there is a 510 delivery system that you must have, you can use an adapter. When I want to just relax and vape away without a lot of refilling,I just out an adapter on my x2 and vape a vivi nova 2.5. There is no reason for me to get a 510 battery and risk not getting the awesome customer service and family like atmosphere that exists here,

Here is a picture of my vivi nova on an x2

Hacksaw? Something different?

How are these vivi nova's different from a 3.5ml Dual coil metal tank-808d style that I've been wondering about? Sold by another vendor that won't be named here....

First off, it's actually not s tank, it's a 3.5ml clearo. It uses wicks instead of a carto with filler. Personally, I hate cartos, especially the muted flavor.

Second, it has one coil, instead of two. I don't like dual coil. Dual coil is very hard on your battery, drawing more amps than a single coil.

Third its rebuildable. The entire thing come apart and you can replace the head when it's burned out (much like a clearomizer, only in this case you only replace the head, not the whole unit. It comes with 3 heads. Many people, including myself are rewicking and recoiling them ourselves. It is super easy and quicker than even dry burning it.

Two drawbacks. The first is obvious, it's 510 threaded. I can't find anyone who sells it in 808. I asked one particular vendor if they are going to and they said they haven't decided. The other drawback is minor. The factory heads seem to be off on their resistance rating when you get them. My 2.8ohm head was reading 3.5. They seem to need to break in. After the first tank, they settle right to where the resistance should be.

I asked imagine if they were considering these and she said that when they tested them, they were hit or miss. I have a feeling, that may be one reason. (just my opinion, she didn't say that).

Personally, I love them. I go through 1 tank a night, sometimes more. It is super easy to fill, and can be cleaned in seconds.

Check out my video about them on the x2

Welcome Babe! That shade of blue seems to suit you! LOL ;)

SI products just work. They do what they should, they hit well and consistently, and the vapor is satisfying. That being said... I don't clean my clearos, and they can get gunked up to the point of no return.... but they're not expensive and I just keep track of how long each one is running so I can toss it.

I have stepped up and gotten a Zenesis (rebuildable atty all in one hybrid with a quartz tank). I'm in LOVE with this thing. I love it as much as my first SI 78mm battery after my horrible "starter kit" from the smoke shop. I can put 3ML in a tank and vape my face off, there's no wick or filler, and the clouds of vapor may actually rain on me some day. As much as I love it...... I have to keep it upright when I'm not vaping or liquid leaks into the cap, and it's a quartz tank, so if I drop it, the thing is toast. My X2s are still getting regular rotation for between work and home, any time I'm gonna be mobile, and when I'm laying in bed and dropping onto a hardwood floor is a hazard. They're my little batts that could for everything not sitting in a comfy chair on carpet chain vaping my Zen.

I have a friend that has all sorts of mods.... was hanging out with him and he said "I could never go back to an eGo" (I had pulled my X2 out with my "refresher flavor". I handed it to him and said "It's NOT an eGo"... he hit it and couldn't believe what a great vape it was. He's ordering 2 for his daughter.

ooh, a jeweled spacer would look sweet on that set-up (I'm obsessed with Swarovski crystals right now)...

And I thought I needed help Cindy.

I can cut one down for you if you want one. I have several cones and don't use them.
