noob voltage mod?

I'm looking to do my first mod and came across this
RC 2s-6s Lipo battery Voltage Balancer LCD discharger | eBay
anyone know if you could work it into a variable voltage mod ?

Welcome to ECF !! The link you posted appears to be only a balancer for battery packs, not a power source. It's for a multicell battery pack to ensure each battery is charged to the exact same voltage. Incorporating it into a mod for charging multiple batteries might be possible but would make for a rather large mod. Mods usually have single cell removable batteries, easy to remove and charge.
