Hey all...a couple noob questions about batteries...
I started with a Smoke 51 Trio Red Line, didn't like the lack of vapor and throat hit and bought an NJoy NPRO. Like a true noob, I did all of this before looking around at places like this. A friend at work bought the Smoke 51 Trio as well, and another one bought a V2 starter kit.
I've read that the Trio is a 510, the NPro is a RN4081 and the V2 is a KR808D-1.
My first question is what are the main differences (aside from threads) of the batteries? Is there any one that has an advantage over the others?
After searching around and reading some stuff, I decided I wanted to try out the CE2 cartomizers. I had ordered some RN4081 cartos from esmokeclub and liked them, but to my dismay, they didn't carry the CE2. I found some at Vapor Junction, but they only had ones that would fit the 510 and KR808D-1, so I bought a pack of 510 XL Clearomizers and a pack of KR808D-1 regular sized. I was planning on buying a KR808D-1 battery, and not liking the selection Vapor Junction had I went back to esmokeclub.com (I love the free shipping and the fact that they are in Michigan, which means I get them basically overnight). I had read somewhere that the KR808D-1 and DSE901 were the same, and since esmokeclub didn't have anything marked as KR80D-1 so I bought a couple they had listed as "Mini - DSE901".
When I got the CE2 cartos, the 510s worked perfectly with my Trio. The 510s also work perfect with the DSE901 batteries (courtesy of the KR808/901 batt to 510 atty/carto adapter from vapor junction). But when I put the KR80D-1 cartos on the DSE901 batteries, they go on really tight, and I don't get any airflow through the slots in the cartos.
So my second question is... Are the DSE901 and KR808D-1 really the same battery?
Thanks in advance to any advice anyone might be able to give me!
