Hello from TX. I've never even heard of these so called e-cigs until today while reading an article and seeing an ad for them. I made the mistake of ordering a sampler kit for free, but had to pay s/h of $4.95. I have since read the "The Wonderful World of vaping parts 1-6" (overwhelming amount of info), and I'm going to cancel my order for the kit (which I ordered without reading the small print). There is a wealth of info on this board, and I'm not even sure I'll like the transition, but I'm willing to try it to get rid of the wonderful side effects of smoking analogs.

I want to make sure I'm on the right track. I am about a 1 pack a day smoker of analog Marlboro light shorts. I smoke about every hour or so for about 3-5 minutes.

At this time I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the Joye510 starter kit along with 3 10ml bottles of juice. I think I'll get 2 18mg bottles and 1 11mg bottle to test, with both being Marbro flavor.

if it were me i'd get a few other flavors besides the marlbro, i find that the fruit and non tobacco flavors made vaping taste so much better than analogs that when i did smoke and analog it tasted totally like poo. i like the sweet taste and the tons of flavors i can get for my vaping pleasure. i haven't really tried many tobacco flavors, i can't speak for them but the sweet almost candy like flavor of what i have tried has done it for me

Good to see someone use the wonderful resources here. I also see it help you make a good decision. I suggestion though. You may change one of those bottle for something else. It's hard to imitate cigs., and as an avid tobacco vapor it took a lot of trial and error to find the right one. Welcome and good enjoy your vaping journey!

the 510 is a favorite here, and a good choice too. but i would get a few different flavors tho. finding a 'good' flavor was the hardest part for me.

welcome!
I started (an still use) the joye510 although Ive collected a few mods now lol. Id advise getting some extra liquid - I made the mistake of not getting enough and sometimes the carts that come with the kits while 'ok' to me are really horrid to some people and its nice to try something ELSE to compare it to.
Many supplier sell small sized bottles if money is a concern (and the initail outlay for these things can be offputting so I totally get why it would be) and you can use those to 'test drive' liquids.
Also remember when you get your kit to blow out the atty first AND up your daily liquid intake (water, soda etc) as PG and Vg are both humectants and can dry out your throat.

Being a newer user myself I would say get extra juice also. Get your tobacco and something else.
Trust me within a week or two you will be ordering more. It' going to be trial and error for a little as you're just starting.
Also as was pointed out to me in another thread your taste buds may not be up to par and some flavors may not be as pleasing right now as they might in the near future.

What type of flavors do you like right now in your drinks and candies?
For me I really enjoy soda drinks so the colas and tobacco works best for me at this point.

Congrats to you, you have passed the first hurdle and by being here right now you have progressed beyond the first step.
Research, ask away, and please keep us updated as to your progress. This is a wonderful community and ECF made my experience in e-cigs smoother and easier and I hope we can do the same for you.

I too went the 510 route and feel free to PM me anytime for my perspective as a beginner.
