Started the e-cig thing with an njoy king and was pleasantly surprised. Read the info for starting out on this site and have come to the conclusion (so far) that the KR808 would be a good place to begin. I ordered the Firelight Fusion after a little homework due to their fairly reasonable prices.....for some reason I keep getting the nagging feeling that this method of smoking is more expensive than it should be. The njoy has really got it going on as far as feel and taste goes it is truly as close as you can get, I even found myself tapping the ashtray with it. But and a big but they only last for a few hours with occasional puffing. You can set it down pick it up the next day and it'll puff a little more, it would certainly be nice if these could be charged and have a few drops added from time to time but then they wouldn't sell as many now would they. Being a boomer and more or less a dinosaur these days an unable to start a new paragraph I'll just add that hopefully this site will be of help and because I have to have X amount of posts in certain roped off areas to ask questions to members and other users I won't get frustrated and give up. Funny I am a member of at least fifty other forums and there was never a limit put on where or how many posts you had to do to get to where you want to go.

Welcome to ECF. As long as you tend to go for cigalike types and prefilled cartos you will spend more money than necessary. Most of us did that in the beginning and have learned it isn't always the best way to go. It just takes some time reading and checking reviews before you get it right. This is definitely the place to learn.

Thanks to this forum it has saved me tons of money. Because of the wealth of information I absorbed, I was able to go right in to a variable voltage setup and clearo tank. Skipped the cig-like ecigs altogether.

joytech ego c upgrade... passthrough or not... is a good place to start. Depending on vape style get the size you need... the numbers mean how many hours before you need to charge... 650 mah.. 6 and half hours... 1000 mah... 10 hours. Since you're used to Njoy, get yourself some Boge 2.0 LR cartomizers and a drip tip and you're set to go. You can get an ego C upgrade passthrough kit with everything you need in it for $35.00 at Mr-E-Liquids... you get a box of 5 cartomizers with it, the tip, charger, etc. The pass through is nice because you can use it while its charging. I have two and don't like to let it go below a 50% charge to prolong its life so I just put one on the charger when the blue light (that's an upgrade feature) comes on and use the other fully charged one. There might be better deals on the kits (I doubt it though) but I bought mine there and they're a super vendor. You'll find those here recommending fancier/intensive fiddling/expensive stuff but I wouldn't until I let an ego C break me in and show me the PV world as opposed to the ecig world.

I suspect that restriction has a lot to do with containing spammers. This is a big, active forum. Has to have some controls or it'd go nuts.

And there's plenty of knowledgeable, helpful folk around that respond to posts in the New Member section. I've been around maybe a week and learned tons.

First off thanks to all and especially patkin I even copied your info to a notepad for future reference. Basically I am looking for a virtual cigarette one that is as close to the real deal than lets say things that look like smoking kazoos or musical instruments. You know ones with soft tips and not too long batteries. I did kit up with one that has a drip tip and a fairly large bottle of e-liquid and (2) 850 mAh batteries. But as usual being a NooB I have purchased several kits and accessories looking for nirvana. As a long time analog user I am more attuned to the pomp and circumstance of smoking than the Jolt Cola blast of nicotine, if I can hit the right combo it will be the best thing since sliced bread. So if any of you and hope I haven't missed the advice you have given can steer me to soft tips and paper wrapped batteries I and my lungs and gums will be forever grateful.

Ugh... sorry... just went to your OP again and saw you've already tried these. I'm afraid you won't find battery long charges in that size ecig. You really do have to find a PV you like for that. The longer the charge, the bigger the battery. If you can give up the paper wrap, you can get the ecig size along with a PCC (charging case) and carry 3, 4, 5 batteries and just pop them to charge while using the other. Njoy and Eroll both sell those. Alot of folks here really like the eroll and they're made by Joyetech too.

Thanks patkin and yeah I've pretty much exhausted the NJOY route even got their starter kit along with Nhaler and Firelight Fusion. To be honest I really wish I would've come here first as my first kit was 64 bucks and the one you put me on was 38 bucks grrrrr. Live and learn mostly thru the wallet which makes a much bigger impression huh. Been all over looking for some soft tips (not to be confused with soft caps) that's one thing NJOY does have is that feel which to me is half the way home on weening oneself and you are correct about joyetech they do seem aok in quality and presentation. Still can't figure out why companies wouldn't try to make a product that looks and feels like the real thing well maybe the look thing but certainly not the feel. What would be so hard in making the things out of durable plastic instead of metal? It's not like the voltage is going to fry something. Ok nuff of the rant business.

i'm new myself but have you looked at the volt? i bought one and as stated in my other post i'm greatly please with it. I don't vape 24/7 maybe 5 or 6 times a day and i'm going on 2 weeks on a charge now. Got myself a portable charging case and two batteries and i'm all set , at least until i manage to figure out how to get me ego working the way i want it to

This is my fifth post and I must say I see know why there is a control thing set up, boy, in just two days I've noticed five or six pages between my post from yesterday to today. I can see where this would be a headache to the admins. And in concerning this product you have more opinions than Carter has Little Liver Pills....it's a Southern thing from the 50's & 60's.

Yeah it seems the ones I have (Firelight-NJOY-NHALER) charge up fairly quickly and now with several chargers going on keeping one available is a non-issue plus several came with a wall charger and if and when I do step out I'll just take a few fresh ones along in a case. Don't plan on staying out that long anyway but can see where travelers and folks away from home a lot would be well served with those travel case chargers or PCC's. More new lingo to learn. All I can say for sure is anyone interested in these things definitely need to come here first to get better picture on what to go for and in what direction ya wanna go. Saves money time and aggravation.

Thanks andrew79 checked out the volt thing, man oh man, so many to choose from.
