Noobie carto question

So I got the latest vape mail today -grape and spearmint- and was surprised to find a box of cartos. Seems there was a mix up, and they told me to keep it. Works for me, I figured at some point I would see what all the hoop-la was about these things.. but I'm not sure how to use them. I took off the little rubber protector thingies at both ends... I know the juice goes through the tiny hole up top (glad I kept the bottle from my starter kit) do I just screw it into my ego? Is there anything more I need to do? How much juice will it hold?

The cartos are 510D 1.0mm with 2 holes punched.

If they have two holes punch in the side, they're designed to be used in cartotanks. So you can't use them unless you get one of these!

If it is punched, it needs to go in a tank or it will leak out the side. You also need to pull out the little white stopper at the top and put a drip tip in..well you don't HAVE to, but you should.

They're Boge. The box should also state the OHM's. Take that rubber cap off the top, if you have a drip tip. Don't drip fluid in there.
Take the longer rubber sleeve from the outside and fill it 2/3 of the way.

Slowly push the carto in it to absorb.

Let sit for awhile- the longer the better. (1/2hrish)

Take carto out, blow thru to remove excess fluid.

Vape.

You can trim a piece of the outside rubber covers off and slide it over the holes.

Okay, makes much more sense now. I was really confused because I've gone through allot of the PV porn threads and NOTHING looked like a skinny little tube just stuck on a battery.

Great, so I can do this to give it a try and get a carto tank later on? I have a new drip tip to put on the top- this is working out great, I got the drip tip in the package as well!

I like the advice on cutting the condoms and covering the holes (thanks r7). Try it out, and you may like them. For the most part cartomizers are what I use. You've got to top them off frequently, but you get a lot of vapor.

Update- the condom/cover trick works! And if I may add... holy cow! I had heard allot about how much better cartomizers are but... just wow... I didn't know my peach juice could taste this good. And the vapor was so much more then with my clearos. I'm not a cloud chaser, but this is pretty cool.

Looks like I'm just going to have to get that carto tank after all. My wallet has gotten allot lighter since I started vaping, at what point do I start saving all that money from quitting analogs?

edit to add- I'm vaping 12mg juice, but it seems like a higher nic content- 4 hits and can really feel the nic in my system. Is that normal with cartos?

I love my cartos. The draw and the flavor and consistency. You can get tanks pretty cheap online.
