Hello Everyone!
I'm getting close to eight months into vaping, and I'm finally getting around to the whole DIY e-liquid world. To start things off I had a question about the Humco Glycerine sold at Wal-Mart. After doing some research, I've read that the Humco Glycerine should be used and treated as VG. So my question here is, would you recommend using the Humco Glycerine or simply just purchasing Food Grade VG from a vendor?
My next question is the use of distilled water. I already know that distilled water is used for thinning the e-liquid. I vape a primarily VG juice (Mostly a 70/30 VG/PG blend, sometimes a 50/50 blend), so I assume I would be using distilled water to thin out the e-liquid to the consistency I prefer. Yet, I was wondering if distilled water could replace the PG in the blend. Would this mute flavor and decrease vapor production? Or would I be better off finding the best combination of PG, VG, and distilled water through trial and error.
I am by no means an expert, and also aware that mixing my own e-liquid could use a lot of practice. So I am trying to do all the research I can before I actually dive in.
Thanks ahead of time for all advice and support!
