I am new to vaping. I bought a V2 e cig a few weeks ago. Problem is the cartomizers from V2. They suck! Most of them arrive dried out or with little juice at all. I tried buying juice from a few places but they all seam to have little taste if any. I'm frustrated with juices so far.

Is this model good for vaping?
Is it okay for adding juice and actually tasting it?
Should I take advantage of the 30 day money back return policy and get something else?
What juice company offers GOOD juices? I don't mind paying extra for a good product.

Again, I am so frustrated so far. All the juices I have tried all taste the same. What is the correct mixture PG/VG for this model?

Thanks!!!

Based on the prices I see on the V2cigs website and on the problems you've been experiencing, I think it might very well be a good idea to "take advantage of the 30 day money back return policy and get something else."

I suppose you could cope with their batteries (Kr8 model, I believe) and use other suppliers' cartomizers. But I'd rather have the money to fuel purchases of good products from the kind of reliable suppliers participating in ECF.

If you like the size and shape of the V2 and convenience of prefilled cartomizers, I recommend any of the new generation of the Kr8 model, e.g., the VOLT from Smokeless Image. For example, their $65 "Pro Starter Kit" includes two batteries (65mm for a 220 mAh 103mm e-cig or 78mm for a 320 mAh 116mm e-cig), five prefilled cartomizers, and a "smart" Mega PCC (for charging two batteries and holding five extra cartomizers while you are out and about).

The juice in their prefilled cartomizers is pretty good and also available in bottles for refilling your cartos. I don't know the PG/VG proportion of their e-liquid. I do know that I've never had a problem refilling their cartomizers with the 70/30 mix I usually purchase elsewhere.

The Kr8 model is one of the two that I recommend for new vapers. The other is the 510-based fat batt. The eGo is the most famous, but the best deal is on the 750 mAh, 3.7V Riva-510: $30 for a complete two-battery/two-atomizer kit (no PCC required) from Liberty-Flights. [Click on the "20% Discount" icon in the upper left of screen first, in order to see that price.] They call it the "Lite Bundle", but there is nothing "lite" about it.

I point out the respective pros and cons of the Kr8 and fat batt in this article.

As for suppliers of good e-liquid: Might as well start with your hardware supplier (e.g., Smokeless Image or Liberty-Flights) ... and then – The good news is that there are so many of them. The bad news is that there are so many of them.:D That is: How to choose?! Read and view reviews here on ECF, explore the juice descriptions on the websites of the suppliers represented here, and order selections of small bottles.

Enjoy the adventure!
