I normally only get 2-3 days out of my cartos. I blow out after overfilling and I don't do that often. I'm not into cleaning or hard draws after they caramelize. I usually loose the throat hit after that. I have heard people get much, much longer out of them. Should I just expect to pay the $1.59 each that often of what. Someone please enlighten me.

If you are vaping one flavor from one carto all day every day, then that sounds about right. I measure the life of cartos by how much juice I run through them, since I rotate through quite a few juices throughout the day. Depending on the juice's carto friendliness, I can run anywhere between 5 and 15 ml of juice through one carto before it gets funky. 2-3 days of vaping is about par for a carto.

Agree with spaceballs. There's huge variability based on eliquids, and also carto QC/consistency is iffy. I run 18 - 20 ml through the particular cartos I use, 3 days, in a tank, with my particular all day vape. The cartos I like run about $1.80 (and a discount if quantity is decent), but have been really consistent over 18 months.

High VG or dark liquids are carto killers. 3 days isn't bad for a carto, though. Past that point the quality of the vape descends. If I gfet a week out of a carto, the last few days are not nearly the vape quality of the first 3. There's little better flavor than the first hour of a new carto.

You might want to try a Vivi Nova tank. I can get a week out of a head easily and the vapor remains at a high flavor level similar to a new carto. They are easy to clean and dry burn for extended life. The head change is about as easy as changing a carto. You just need a syringe to pull out the remaining juice before a washout and head change. Then, you can refill using the same juice and then top it off from there.

I use 80/20 PG/VG. I really like changing them each day. for $1.59 at Madvapes, for single coil, i'm not breaking the bank but would like to save some more money. My wife really rides me about costs.

How about trying DIY eliquid? Unflavored with a little menthol or something it it? That's what I use and batteries, cartos, and juice run me less than $200 yr. Was $2400 yr with cigs.

Everytime you buy something, buy her something- CHOCOLATE.:)

Have you tried the mega cartos? I vape mostly NETs which clog things up pretty quickly but get as much as 30 ml through many. They cost more but hold a full workday of juice, produce big hits (none dry), and are far easier to fill. I have several loaded at a time so they often sit untouched for a few days and this doesn't affect performance.

Using cartos in tanks doubled or tripled their life for me.

Another trick to extend cartos' lives is to have several setups through which you rotate during the course of a day. Take a few drags off setup A, put it down, take a few drags off setup B, put it down, take a few drags off setup C, then repeat the cycle. Doing this gives the coil a chance to cool down and the e-liquid in the carto to soften and/or dissolve caked-on gradoo before you get back to it. If you have contrasting flavors in each setup, you're also less likely to suffer flavor fatigue.

I keep my cartos on the bottle of juice with rubber bands. Most of my bottles are 15 ml and they generally last the life of the bottle, I just make sure to keep both caps on including the little rubber plug that comes in it. So far this works great!

I usually only pick about 3 flavors a week and rotate every week. That way I don't get too bored.
