Normal vs Rapid Charger --> battery life over time?

I was wondering, if you took two of the same Li-Ion batteries (same manufacturer, rating, etc.) that rated their battery as lets say 500 charge cycles.

If you were to take those batteries and always used one on a rapid charger to charge at 4-5x the mA and always charged the other one in a normal charger, would you get close to the same amount of recharge cycles for each battery? Would heat from the rapid charger on the battery effect the amount of charge cycles?

I am under the impression that the one on the slower charger would indeed last longer, but I am no expert. Meaning it would get the full ~500 charges before failing completely where the fast charged one might only get ~400 or whatever.

I'd like to know for sure myself, but for now, I am charging my Tornado batteries on the slow!
