Woohoo!! I've been waiting for this one!! C'mon tobacco State vapers....take a little bit of time out of your lives to socialize w/ fellow vapers!! I can tell you that driving out of my way to attend the Charlotte gathering was more enjoyable and fun than I would have ever imagined and I'd gladly do it again (c'mon...when's the next one, there?? ).....so I'm definitely looking forward to supporting mamacat and the Winston-Salem area vapers!

Let's see, we'll have the entertainment of watching all of us adults get our behinds beat by a 9yr old bowling prodigy, we'll have the stand-up comedy of Jim420, we'll have a truly outstanding leader in the vaping community in Spikey, and we'll have beer (right mamacat...we'll have beer, right???). Oh...and for those of us who don't want to try driving home after all that fun and excitement, there is a Holiday Inn nearby....but I'll leave it to mamacat to post all that info.

Game on - we meet at 5pm at the bowling alley in the meeting room. There is a tournament, so we will have to wait our turn but if it is anything like last the last vapers meeting - two hours will just fly by! My son (reigning City singles and doubles champ and nationally ranked in his division) and a few of his friends will be there to whip our butts in short order. 8-o Or, they might take pity on us and start offering us some pointers.

Hey everybody, first time on here for me. I live in Charlotte (University area). I switched from analog to ecigs two weeks ago and love it. My hubby quit smoking years ago and is glad that I don't have to go outside for a tobacco fix anymore + the fact that I don't smell like smoke now. So far I've tried the NPRO by njoy and the SmokeStik and prefer the NPRO. My guy is really into checking out all the different types with me and just ordered the Liberty4072 for me to take for a test vape. I'm hoping that I'll get better vapor action with the different style of atomizer and atty. I was curious about whether or not I was the only ecig user in NC. I haven't seen any others out and about. Anyhoo..nice to meet up with all of you here and hopefully in person soon!

We are darn near neigbors! Hubby and I live a few minutes from Concord Mills (behind Highland City...err Creek). Good to know there are folks around locally! I went nuts ordering and we have 901s now from East Mall, 510s from Widow's Beadwork, and 801 and 808s on the way. I am having a ball! Now to try tons of liquids. Who knew quitting smoking could be this much fun!

Haven't seen a lot of posting activity about this Saturday's meet at Winston-Salem!

C'mon folks....it's kinda nice to get out of the house and travel somewhere you normally wouldn't....especially to support electronic cigarettes, get some more public notice for them, and to support the local vapers! IMHO, the more public awareness we can create/promote of these devices, the better chance we'll have to not being forced back to the analogs by the government, big tobacco, big pharma, and all the anti-smoking movements.

And on a lighter note, it's sure to be a good time with good entertainment, great people.....and alcohol!!

So.....................WHO'S COMING?!?!?!

I just received my 510 yesterday (I previously had a SE Gold), and I'm loving it....but I'm unhappy with the EcoPure juice (no flavor).

I'm actually going hunting for some ingredients tonight as soon as I get off work. I want to make a nicotine free juice...that only has the flavor of a cigarette (which is all I miss about smoking).

Hey DougWare, welcome to the thread!! You've got a few vapers right there in your area....we try to gather monthly...but it's been a little too busy lately to get one going. So keep your eye on this thread for future ones! Do you have any interest in attending the Winston-Salem one? I'll be leaving Raleigh around 3'ish, so if you need a ride, you can jump in...but I am planning on crashing there overnight. Send me a pm if you're interested.

As for the nic-free juice....good luck! I'll definitely be interested to hear how that goes for you!! I have yet to see anyone who has managed it.

If you haven't been able to come before ~ now is your chance!! This may be TnA's last visit with us for a while. He is being deployed. Let's show him how much we appreciate what he does for our country and send him off a happy vaper

Please PM me if you are going to be able to attend! I am sure if the weather cooperates for us, we will have the patio area of this wonderful establishment, same as we did last time!! It holds roughly 25-30 people and we hope to see it FULL of NC vapers!!

DON'T forget your gear!! You might just have the latest and greatest PV out there and we will ALL want to try it!
