I would love to come, Bulldog. It is just hard for me because my husband works 65 (sometimes more) hours per week and always on the weekends and I have two kids. I can leave the 5 year old with the 13 year old but not for the day. I don't like to be too far away when they are alone. If I can arrange a sitter for the day that you guys do it, I may be able to come. I do what I can

Yeah I knew you had kids, you don't think the 5 year old would be up for a day long road trip? LOL Usually they are so forgiving under those circumstances. Hey TnA, you could rent a car swing through and pick us up and we could all chip in for gas and rental, except for me, just being in my presence would be worth it to you. No seriously we all could. Let me know if you consider doing that because I will search for rental deals.

Well bulldog...as attractive an offer as it seems...it's just not quite got me convinced yet. Something about driving 1 1/2 hours to you and then another 3 1/2 hours to Charlotte versus 2 1/2 hours from me to Charlotte is giving me a hard time. Fancy driving down to me and then taking a rental? I'm pretty much convinced I'm going to use a rental, regardless, because I don't want to strain my beater w/ the drive....especially at highway speeds. 4500 rpm on the highway just ain't much fun. 8-o

So now, that I have "connected" with other NC e-Vapers (I thought this was vaping, not smoking)....are there ANY sources in NC to get supplies? Honestly, I have not taken a single puff on an atomizer yet as I am still awaiting my 510's arrival, but I want to get off of the analogs soooo badly, I have mentally prepared myself that I am a "Vaper" already. Weird eh?

I would LOVE to learn from you all and the best part about it is, I am not very far away from you Triangle folks. I know of no other Vapers in my area ( you may..clue me in). Teach me all that you know!!!!

Welcome NcChief. There's a lot of good people into e-smoking.

(I thought this was vaping, not smoking)....

E-smoking is just another slang term for whatever it is we do... :> comes from electronic cigarette, or "e-cig".

The 510 is a great choice to start with, and the manual battery makes things simpler. There's still a bit of a learning curve, like there was with analog cigarettes. Start with lower nicotine so you know how much your body can handle, and drink extra water.

Oh, and keeps your eyes peeled for local meet-ups. I learn a lot on my visits. :>
