Not a fan of Legend from HHV.

Recently bought Legend (Gandalf) and Angels Kiss light menthol, both 60/40 pg/vg blend and 18mg nic based on the rave reviews both have received. I will say the Angels Kiss is an awesome vape, kinda like juicy fruit with some other fruit undertones that I can't describe.

As for Legend, I can't say I was overly impressed, I was really turned off by the taste entirely. Taste so much like pipe tobacco or as if I were to have opened up a pack of Buglers and rolled a cigarette myself. Maybe I'll try it again after it's steeped for a bit, but for now its not for me.

Both were put through a Kanger Protank.

Also have about 255ml of juice coming from Mt. Bakers Vapes to try, mostly fruity blends. Ecto, Hawk Sauce, the Rob, Thug juice just to name a few. Possible review coming for those as well.

As popular as Gandalf has been and continues to be, it's certainly not for everyone (but then no juice is). I keep some in my box, but I don't vape it all that much. Dragon's Fire is my favorite HHV tobacco and you'll see a lot of people talking about it. If you weren't told it was a tobacco, you might not even realize it.

Yeah, I never could get into HHV tobaccos (or any tobaccos), but my wife is a rabid fan of Pirates booty with an occasional Dragons Fire on the side. Oh well, we haven't agreed on anything in 38 years of marriage. No need to start now. Just goes to show you that taste is truly subjective.

I am a fan of the simple fruit juices from Mt Baker (grape and wild cherry). Also Blu-bacco and Chocobacco. Not so much the more complex Hawks Juice etc. I guess I'm just a simple guy with simple tastes. I do rock Sweet Swish from HHV most days, so fruit is my mainstay.

I bought a "black & mild" juice from a local B&M and it was pretty good, more of a chocolaty flavor to it. I will now agree that taste is subjective. I'm still on that hunt for the elusive all day vape. No luck yet. I think this Legend is going into a bin that I will one day offer up in the PIF subforums.

I'm a big fan of several HHV juices, but I agree with you about Huntsman. I don't get that juice at all. Lots of people love it though.

I wasnt too impressed with Legend either when I first got it in. It had an earthy pipe tobacco quality with a strong berry finish. But after letting it steep for a few weeks now, and vaping on it more, it is starting to grow on me, and become a pretty tasty vape. I still get the earthy pipe tobacco, but the berry flavor is starting to mellow out, and im now starting to get a slight chocolate taste in the finish...

HHV Dragons Fire is next on my list to try...

You may want to stay away from naturally extracted tobaccos then if you don't want any pipe tobacco taste. Most are made from pipe tobaccos or cigars. I think Legend is made from Cavendish tobacco, which is usually Virginia or Burley tobacco that is sweetened during the curing process. It results in a mild and sweet tobacco, so if the Cavendish NETs are too much you'll probably hate the stronger ones. To me Legend and the other HHV NETs I've had are among the best Cavendish juices for my tastes, since they are so smooth and have great flavoring notes.

Legend's ok in my book, but then again I used to smoke marlboros light so who am I to judge a real tobacco? I had HHV Cherry bomb now that's MARVELOUS

Hm. I was very pleasantly surprised by HHV's purity tobacco line. Shadow, Dragon's Fire, and yes, Legend (Gandalf) are now in constant rotation. I didn't like Legend at first, now I love it. The only one I have tried but didn't quite like was Hunstman. I have a bottle of Dark Horse steeping, still, also. We'll see how it goes.

At first I was all about MBV. But now... Not so much. They have amazing prices and the fastest shipping known to man, but now that I've ventured beyond MBV, I'm starting to come to the conclusion that MBV is an "economy" brand. I made this analogy in the MBV thread: they're going for volume of fire over accuracy. With volume of fire, they're pumping out so many flavors that one or two are bound to hit the target (you). With HHV, she's going for accuracy over volume of fire. Lesser flavors, but they hit the target almost every time.

Taste is subjective, that's our mantra here. And it truly is. What I find delicious, others may hate. For example, a really good buddy of mine only vapes MBV black licorice. He has like nine different carto tanks, all loaded with black licorice. That makes no sense to me. But whenever I try it, I want to immediately gag and scrape a knife down my tongue to get rid of that black licorice taste. I hate it, he loves it.

EDIT: After posting this, I went back to my tank with Hunstman. It has definitely improved over the last two days.

I love Legend. I think it is my all time favorite juice. But I love a bunch of tobacco juices from hhv. I still sometimes can't believe it is only $13 for 30 ml. I think hhv is one of the best values on juice out there. But, as with anything, it won't be for everyone.

HHV (Purity) and GooodeJuice (House Brewed) are likely THE best juices for $13 a 30 mL for high quality extracted juices.

I ordered 50ml the next day. The PB and Vanilla still ain't doing it for me, but I'm enjoying the last of the Shadow as I type...

Now that you mention it, the only juice that I hated from HHV was the PB Cookie. For me, terrible stuff.

Haha. Me too. Actually my dislike column only has one. That is the best track record of any of the vendors that I buy juice from.

I hated gandalf when i first got it. After it steeped a few weeks i loved it.then i was like eh, its ok.then sometimes i love it? I don't get it either
