I have bases from two different vendors. One of them doesn't screw all the way down on my Kgo VV, but does screw 3/4 on the Twist. On the Kgo fires but it's weak, while it works full steam on the Spinner and the Twist. I like the lighter draw, I think they're three hole heads, but all the difference I see in performance is just that. Wiggling the post is out of the question, broke 5 bases thanks to that.

Agreed! I have 2 that fire on the spinner but not on the twist. I also have some that leak no matter what I do but this seems to be the tank itself. Swapping bases or silicone pieces doesn't make a difference, They just leak. Guess I should have sent them back but I didn't realize at first it was a real problem. I just thought they were prone to leaking. I have 3 others that work very well.

Just out of curiosity, no solution, is it leaking onto the battery post or out into the open air around the tank?

I get a little dampness on the battery post, not enough to cause any problems, but no leaking to the open air anywhere.

Not yet at least, I'll let you know. Something like that happens every now and again with CE3 3ml tanks. I tightened the center post and it stopped leaking. Guess is that the center post is not fully inside the head and lets in more liquid than it should.
