I am glad I am not the only one. I also have a spread sheet of purchases, how much I have saved from smoking and my break even point. I can't seem to stop buying stuff. I keep saying that I am finished but it never stops. I make all my own juice now and have just gotten into rba's although do not have any desire to start dripping. At least at this point!!! I started vaping in Sept and quit smoking in Oct. Thought that the spending was just a way to forget about smoking but I am at the point now that I don't have any desire whatsoever to smoke again but I keep spending.

I'm winding down after a year. When my taxes come I'm getting myself a REO mod. I see a .... ton of stuff I like, of course, but I pretty much have all my bases covered. Now that there's a lot of clones out there, I can try the "higher end" stuff and not be broke about it. I'm sure I'll end up with a hammer clone too, but you know, that's only to round out my epipe collection :D .

That's why I got a counter for my sig. I watch what we have saved and keep a spread sheet of what we spend. Every time I think we have it all except for juice, something shiny goes by.

I didn't even think about keeping record of money saved and spent since the switch. Might have to start doing that.

It passes. I tend to go "all in" with new interests too. Some find their ideal setup and ADV quicker than others and never really turn vaping into a hobby, approaching it much as they used to smoke once they've done that. I thought I had turned it into a hobby until I wasted money on rather pricey stuff that's now in my backup drawer and realized I'm still using pretty much what I started with with less expense. That's when the light bulb went on and I now just pay for maintenance. I guess we all either reach that point at different time or not at all... though most do.

For the past few days I look around at everything and I am just now to the point that I think I have toooo much. Multiple new orders will arrive early next week and I have no place else to put them…lol

I think I am out of control as well.

Once I get to test drive the IBTanked set-up I expect I will start thinning the herd.

10 tanks sitting here full
8 more ready to be filled
3 drippers in use
4 more on standby
2 Cartos on mods testing juice
87 bottles of DIY Juice
35 flavors mixed and ready to rock

I think I might be done buying PVs....now that my 4th ProVari came yesterday....:ohmy::facepalm: I'm not going to DIY anything, so will still be buying juice and other supplies, but that should be a lot cheaper....just gotta hope nothing new comes out that I just gotta have!! Still love to "window shop" but don't feel the need to buy most of the time (knock on wood!!)

Like some of the others here, when I get into a hobby, I tend to eat, drink, and sleep it for a while....a looooong while!! :p

I just have to quit looking at shinny stuff. Sucks to have my CC# memorized, don't even need the plastic card to spend more on something I don't really need, but just looks nice. For me it IS an Addiction and a Hobby and an Obsession. I won't bore you with my collection, as what I post today will change tomorrow, as I can't quit buying.

I think what makes it worse is that I'm a big time collector. So all these different shapes, sizes, features, etc. really doesn't help my case any. Good thing I know when I can and can't afford things.

That's me in a nutshell. I love artisan made things of all types, especially glass and metal. However, I am on a tight budget and it's going to be months before I get anything I'd call "cool" as vaping gear. I'm betting most of my funds will go to finding good e-juice and or learning to mix my own.
