"Outsiders" see e-cigs only as a device to quit smoking and to be used temporarily.
But let's face it smoking was just an addiction, vaping however is an addiction and a hobby.
I find that i'm much less dependent on nicotine as i used to while smoking, but i think that if i decided (which i don't) to quit vaping it would be much harder.

I can't imagine it being harder to quit vaping but I'm not going to try. I was going to head toward 0 nic but after reading about the benefits I see no reason to concern myself with that either.

I'm having too good of a time vaping. I've never said that about smoking cigarettes.

+1 to all of this. I started at 24mg and it didn't take long before I arrived at 6mg, which is what I've been vaping for roughly the past 6 months. I might even go lower when available from online vendors or when I finally take the DIY plunge.

Smoking used to feel like a bit of a chore. Vaping is all fun.

I didn't intend for it to be a hobby. At the time i just wanted a little ego and just have it forever. Rip tripper and grimmgreen made me change my mind. Now after getting my mod I plan to look into DIY juices. At this point it's no longer about quitting smoking but something more. Its become a hobby and almost a lifestyle. :)

I have a problem of going to extremes when something interests me.
Always wanted to have a few more super nintendo games, now I have a 500+ cartridge video game collection and a custom arcade cab

I get into vaping, I get an ego, get off analogs within a week, now three months later I probably have a grand worth of gear/juices
(was a pack a day smoker for 10 years)

When I first started I didn't see it as a hobby. I was desperate for something that would actually get me off the cigs and that's exactly what I got from it. I then realized how awesome it is and got a mod. Now I'm building my own coils and I plan to eventually DIY juice too. If I had known about vaping at the time I started smoking I would have never touched a cig ever. Vape on everyone!!

Though I personally could care less ithat people may want to enjoy the effects of nicotine, I will say vaping obviously does not have to be an addiction hobby. I am a no nic vaper and I am very much inspired to let others in on it as a fun, tasty and relaxing way to pass the time. I also think for those interested in tinkering, with their equipment, it is a great hobby. The friends that I have let in on my hobby are pretty fascinated by it. I took a mini Fling to work yesterday to show my fellow nurses. They were stunned that an e cig could come so close to looking and feeling like a regular cig. Some of them had seen Mods and were asking me about them as well.

Whether it is my enjoyable hobby, or a way for us to let our patients know there are alternatives to analogs available, you can never go wrong educating the public, IMO. So I am starting with those closest to me.

Vaping is becoming more of a hobby to me every day. Started off with an MVP2 to stay away from cigs. Then eventually bought a KFL because I was tired of having to buy new heads for my clearos, Now I'm just waiting for my next paycheck to buy a Mech, RDA, and a few batteries and a charger!

I'm sure after I receive my first mech, I'll have like 4 more in a few months. Then I'm slowly saving up for a DNA30 device like the Hana Modz V3 lol.

Don't even get me started on my juice collection.

Vaping sure saved my health, but my wallet is still crying.
