BAD BAD EXPERIENCE!

Well to start off, they worked just about as well as my Cartomizers (Maybe a tad bit better) but cleaning them, refilling them (yes not as often but still) and managing them was hectic. Let alone the fact that two of them broke in my pocket (at separate times of course) but the last time, I honestly got sick... being an ex chain smoker I of course vape 24 to 36MG of NIC all day. The last time a clear broke in my pocket, I was at work, and I didnt notice until I smelled it, by then it was too late. I got acute nicotine sicness and almost passed out...

If it wasn't for my experiences with other overdoses I might have panicked and passed out (No longer a drug user, and I know this isn't the forum for that just saying)

I carry my extra clearos in an altoids tin, lined with a folded tissue. Never had a problem that way.

Cleaning is easy - dis-assemble, rinse thoroughly under running water, being gentle with the wick, allow to dry, re-assemble.

Filling is easier and faster than refilling a carto, and less messy.

I don't even bother cleaning the heads anymore. The only time I clean is when I'm changing them. In my opinion, they never get clean enough to bother with the hassle, and at $3 per head @ a couple of weeks, it's worth the money to not mess with it. I do save them for my sister who rebuilds, but I'm far too lazy for that. I also prefer the bottom feeders (Kanger T3s). They seem to protect the flavor much longer.

Hi, tlasch. Sorry to read about your misadventures. Do not give up all hope for a great vaping experience.

For me, the only clearomizer, which I am using now, is the Kanger protank. I have bagged the rest of my plastic clearos and gave them away. The protank has a Pyrex tank.

Have you considered using a cartomizer inside a tank? I have had a lot of success with my cartotank set-up. I am currently using cartotanks from IBTanked. This unit comes with a Pyrex tank, as well.

Regardless of what eliquid delivery device you opt to use, care should be taken when handling them and storing them.

I trust that you move on to having an excellent vaping experience.

No argument here. After trying all sorts of clearos, I always return to my trusty dusty cartos. I stopped buying clearos months ago.

Personally, I think clearomizers are great and have their place in the vaping world. However, as many soon come to learn, in their own time, there are much better and rewarding eliquid delivery devices.

I first started with a T3. Worked fine except for an occasional gurgling here and there but no leaks. Then I decided to give the Vivi Nova a try and now I don't even mess with any of my T3's. I plan on getting my first cartomizer tank soon to see how that works for me. In fact I jumped ahead and snatched a Nimbus RDA just cause it can be hard to come by. It's best try different setups to see what's works best for you.

I buy super cheap ones, don't clean them (well maybe a rinse under the sink if I want to change flavors - but most of the time I use the same flavor in it) and throw them away when they stop performing well. I like CE3s, because I can get a 5-pack for $8.50. For out and about, I put them in medicine bottles with a little piece of paper towel at the bottom.

I like mini vivi's and t2's although they are not perfect. IMO the mini vv are a little fragile if handled rough and although i find the T2's more of a solid build they tend to start gurgling and leaking juice through the center post down to the battery top like most of the others. When my T2's start to vape less I look at the battery top post and almost always have a friggin puddle of juice sitting there needing to be sopped up with paper towel, blow the tank out onto the paper towel (waste of juice) screw it all back together and it's back in action for a while with great vape. I've noticed this happens more when my ego battery is running low and when the coil needs to be either replaced or cleaned and dry burned. Can be a pita forsure. I notice from my experience the mini vivi gurgles and leaks through the center post onto the battery far less then the t2's and once broken in and tweaked some is the better of the two. I have not tried carto tanks yet as I find anything puffed through Poly material (only reg cartos to reference so far) the taste is muted for me compared to clearo tanks like a T2 or mini vivi. have not tried the protank yet and not the T3 bottom coil clearo yet. Not in any rush to try the t3 yet after the reviews I have read where many complain of airy draw and most seeing the same gurgling crap as most of the others. Until I try a kanger protank or carto tank it's mini vivi for the win from my experience thus far. your experience may vary :)

One of my clearomizers cracked up and leaked because apparently I put too strong a juice into it (or acidic?).. clove. So I wrapped it in clear packing tape (cut to fit), and it's fine, although I plan to never buy plastic again, going with glass next time. I also plan to use a lined altoids case, good idea :)

Off Topic, where do you get your Clove? I have been looking for a good Clove, most of what I have found hasn't been enough like kretek's analog cloves for me.
