I am new to this after getting information from ECF and vaious youtube videos got myself a mech and kayfun lite + v2 i tried many different ways to rebuild my kayfun but almost every time i end up with almost same maybe less vape production than i do with my mega , i mean taste is good and i am not trying to make clouds but thought itd be lil more than premaid coils anyways heres some info
I use 30 ga kanthal
Made 1.0 ohm 1.3 , 1.6 and 2.0 single and 2x2.0--> 1.0 ohm dual all with almsot same amount if vapor (3/32 drill bit)
Used different sizes of cotton (organic cotton from pharmacy not boiled tho) used really small to large that can barely pass thru the coil less coil was little better imo but still no go
Cotton was set to along side the wall thats closer to the coil
Using 70/30 eliquid mech i have is nemesis clone using vtc5
Any suggestions would be helpfull thank you

My suggestion would be to put the mech away for a bit, Get something like a Vamo or an MVP v2. Or an e-lvt. Whatever - go regulated to see how good it can be. Even better - get an eGo battery and see how good a flat volt vape can be! Just buy a low-resistance 510 atomiser (this isn't a big chunk of metal that you have to re-wick - it's a throw-away thing a bit like a cigarette). Buy an Ego Cone. Drip. It really is that easy if you give it a try. Ymmv. :)

That is a great atty, and really shouldn't be too difficult. If you haven't watched any videos, do so. Also, angle your micro coil a bit, and less is more with wick. If it's hard to pull through the coil, it will choke, and burn. Too little is just as bad, though. Also, make sure you are leaving the ends fluffy, and laying them on the deck, but not covering the fluid channels.

I still have issues, usually new ones, pop up with my kayfuns, but they are relatively easy, and taste great. They aren't gonna blow clouds like a dripper, but I find 1.2 ohms ideal, and I get plenty of vapor. You'll get it down, just read as many tutorials, and watch as many videos as possible until you are satisfied. Your on the right path, it's gonna click all of a sudden. Good luck, and ask specifics if you want, I'm far from an expert, dealing with issues now myself, but I will try to help. Videos, though, they are the best.

I don't really know of a vaper (I'm sure there are some out there) that is into rebuildables that hasn't come from Egos and cartos/510 attys to RBAs/RDAs. Nothing wrong with the vape from either, but the first time I built my brother a coil in a dripper, which he wanted at 2 ohms to use on his VTR, that's all he's vaped since, never looked back.

So maybe you should try rebuildables (mechs or not) and put up the Egos and old school atomizers :)
