First I'd like to say Hi from the people republic of Rhode Island.

6 weeks ag I ordered a starter kit and 50 extra cartidges from BLU. Not saying much for there shipping which took 11 days. With the internet and UPS and Fedex and even the USPS. I can't see why it takes that long.

Well the batties don't last long at all. The cartidges also don't last. Some of them don't work right at all. But my main complaint is that I don't get enough vapor at all. At the begining of a new cartidge and towards the end not much at all.

Is there another company that works better or even another one that I can use the same batteries and chargers on.

HELP

There is a forum for Blu smokers on here if you want to stick with your blu (not sure where it is, will have to find a link for you). Honestly haven't heard much that is good about that brand.
Many people on here recommend the Riva, the 510/ eGo, and the kr808 for a good choice of PV. I myself have an eGo and I really love the consistency, th, vapour production, battery life... that is what I would recommend to you.

a lot depends on how much you vape or smoked. a good one to change to is 510. I started with blu and switched over. the battery and attys are interchangeable so that was a big plus for me as well as getting better quility. I had to drip with the blu bc the carts were way to small and eventually went to 510 cartomizers. I would also suggest getting some liquid to refill the carts it is a lot cheaper and tastes better. you can't use the same chargers though but 510 does have it's own pcc you can get. madvapes has kits and parts cheap.

I started out w/a 401 kit, then switched to 510, then Ego's, now mods. This has proven to be addictive for me. lol Even with all this 'investment' I get off cheaper than analogs. I now prefer vaping to smoking and the whole 'ritual' of filling carto's/carts, mixing juice etc...just adds to the whole process. The right equipment made all the difference. Don't let this discourage you.

we all start somewhere 4dtvman, I found this forum after seeing an infomercial for e-cigs, the advertising world is truly an art form... :)
while you can limp along with the blu, using a better rig will greatly improve your experience, as will finding the "right" juice
hang in there... be sure to return to chat so we can help you get sorted on this!

since i got my first kit... i can't stop myself looking at the mod as well... and now waiting for my parts arrival... half of it is ready ... hehe .. can't stop shopping at this point of time... 3 shipments is coming!!!

I also suggest the Joye 510 as a great starter. And forget about the prefilled carts that come with any kit. I swear I don't know how anyone sticks with vaping if they just use those. Get a good e-juice supplier (supplier forum reviews them, and you'll see which ones have good reputations) and it's worth it. After just a few weeks, if given the choice between a cigarette and a PV, I would hate to have to have a cigarette... really, it's all about having the right PV and some good liquids... good luck. The learning curve is high, but once you get the details sorted, it's worth it.

agree with the prefilled carts... they just don't taste 'right'...

Yeah man, welcome. My girlfriend has a Blu and she likes it, and I honestly don't know why. However, if you choose to stick with it then check out the Blu forum posted above for more info. My personal suggestion is to ditch it, pick up a 510 kit from a cheap site (vapor4u.com is where I got mine about a year ago, cheap then, not sure now) and start with that. I have been vaping for a year and am glad the 510 was, and still is my PV of choice at this time. You will find that you are limited with the Blu as far as vapor production and throat hit, etc...which are all important things for people to get from their ecig when quitting analogs.

Keep hitting up the forums man. It's where I learned, and still learn, most everything about vaping.

I started with a joye 510 and cartridges. Wasn't long before I tired of charging batts and filling carts. It's a real pain. Probably wasn't a full two weeks before i bought an eGo and switched exclusively to cartomizers and drip tips. MUCH better experience. I cannot tell you enough how much better this combo is ... now I know you have a blu but the joye 510 and blu are similar from what i understand.

I still use the 510 for travel as it is much slimmer/smaller and looks more like an analog.

I started with prosmoke, which is similar to the blu from what I've been told. Didn't take long to realize it wasn't going to work for me. Upgraded to standard 510 which was much better, but battery life was still an issue for me at least. Bought the Riva and haven't touched an analog since. Now I'm getting ready to buy a mod, not because I need an upgrade from the Riva, but just want something new!
