Just an update on my issue. I contacted the store and I was told that I might have received "non-resistant wire" by accident...well thats a total fail. Will be going there later to check that out.
And by doing a little research 30 gauge of that wire means .6 ohms/ft...that explains my .1 and .2 ohm coils

that means you were possibly pulling 18 amps through that ego battery, I'm glad it didn't start venting on you, and glad you got it figured out - Status
