Sounds a little odd considering TW ships all their juices with child proof caps...was the cap broken?

The cap wasn't broken. I should have just left it as is when I saw that the label was discolored and kinda wet... The clear plastic was a bit loose, and I'm guessing that was because the cap was askew on the bottle.

no single individual can paint the true picture based on their own very limitedly experience of the e cig seller scene in general..

all they can do is paint their own very small part of the big picture.. TW has thousands of customers.. most get a (relatively) good experience a small number get a bad one..

e cig battereis for those who have real knowledge of the subject are not exactly the most reliable things on the planet..

people who do research into the e cig scene would know this.. it was said long long ago.. never just buy a single starter kit.. always buy some spares in at the same time..

okay.. it could be said this situation is far from ideal.. but its the situation we have at the moment.. perhaps the sellers are wrong for not making this "unreliability" factor clearer but if they did folks would buy from someone else who embellished the truth a little more....

if you really want to totally get off real cigs.. or in other words become dependant on e cigs.. do not under any circumstances expect to do it with one starter kit on its own..

this dosnt matter who you buy from or where you buy from.. if you only have just the one starter kit it will let you down.. allow for this and buy in some spare parts before it does..

TW with the their multi packs of cheaper parts are trying to be as honest as any seller can be.. the bottom line is e cigs do and will work but the initial start up cost is more than just one starter kit..

know the truth learn to cope with the truth.. dont expect more from an e cig than it can deliver.. and dont expect more from a seller than they can deliver..

none of them are perfect and nether is the product they sell..

Thanks for the post, trog. I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm not so much upset with the "unreliability factor" with the batteries as I am the lack of communication coming back from TW. Add to that the missing usb charger, and now the half-gone juice, and there seem to be problems that stretch beyond standard manufacturing.

I know I've just had a string of REALLY unlucky coincidences, so I don't want to paint TW as the devil (even if he IS their mascot ;-); I'm just hoping they'll make it right, but wanted to share my experience with everyone.

I understand problems with TW. They put the wrong apartment number on my first order- ever- and I almost didn't get it. Then, while it was happening they tried to tell me that it was the post office's fault and wouldn't be held responsible. So, if my post office hadn't of taken initiative to find my package I never would have gotten it. Good products, but they don't stand behind their name...

    nice post etip...

first comment a lot of venders are unaware of the issues.. it has caught some (many) by surprise..

Great example. I have ordered two multi-packs with the clear understanding that they don't offer the same warranty. It would be nice if they clarified whether this includes DOA's though.

we are in the "big red" warning sign territory here..

i know what i would mean by the cheapo no warranty five pack.. exactly what it says.. even for DOAs..

this is all about two things.. cutting down handling costs.. and "trust".. i will vouch for the fact that TW five packs are exactly the same as any other atomizers..

the customer does have to believe this otherwise the whole idea gets f-cked up...

for a long time e cigs have been sold with a warranty that does not reflect the expected life of the product.. some sellers promise lets say six months.. some have promised five bloody years... he he

this basically come down to how good the seller is at replacing a product he knows aint gonna last thru his warranty.. to me this is an incredibly stupid and expensive way to market a product.. its also not entirely honest..

customer gets product.. it fails.. customer contacts seller.. seller contacts customer.. customer sends back product.. seller ships out new product.. a whole (expensive in time money and frustration) merry go round is set up..

TW and the no warranty five pack is all about stopping this stupid merry go round.. it makes sense.. the customer does have to trust them tho.. not believe as some do its a way to get rid of dud atomizers..

when they leave the chinese factory atomizers are cheap items.. they become expensive due to western handling costs.. TW are good guys let them help you and they will..

I am perfectly happy with the cheaper TW 5 pack atties, I have never claimed on 'any' of my failed atties and they have 'all' failed well within the various guarantee periods suppliers have offered with them. The fact is that with my own experience so far I can't even see how suppliers 'can' be expected to give any longer than at the very most a two week guarantee on atomizers. They must rely on people like me who do not bother to claim, otherwise I can't see how they could afford to stay in business.
I think trog tells people to expect no more than about 2 weeks from an atty and my view is that is a pretty realistic expectation, anything more than that is just a bonus.

We seem to be diverging into talking about expected lifetimes for different components. I hope I didn't come across as someone who expected this stuff to work for years. That's not the case at all - I just wanted equipment that worked when I got it. Otherwise, what did I pay for?

I ordered a pack of five manual 510 batteries with "Order #2" referenced in my first post. I've been giving them long initial charges (I'm not a superstitious guy, and I know there's a lot of debate about this, but after my first two batteries, I'm willing to try).

I got to the third battery yesterday, pulled it out of the box, and, lo and behold, it's an automatic. 8-o

I know the five packs aren't warranteed, and that's fine, but is there a warranty against sending me the wrong part? Sheesh.

Thanks for the response, pillbox38. The automatic isn't really a big enough deal for me to package it up and go to the post office to send it back, but I appreciate it; like I've said a few times since the sale started, I was sure you had gotten backed up and I wasn't holding a grudge.

Just happened at a bad time for me because I was brand new to vaping, excited about getting started, and then this comedy of errors began.

The thing about batteries; and you've learned this by now I'm sure with all the posts, is that they go bad, and some show up bad. I typically order from "another supplier", and I've had a couple instances where batteries have shown up DOA. I simply submit my warranty claim, they send a replacement quickly, I send back the defective parts, and the world is a happy place. I've placed my first two orders with TW just this past week. They've both already shipped and I'm happy with the quick shipping and processing. The key is to order extras, and expect some things to go wrong. I was a heavy analog smoker for years and years. Once I got my first starter kit (the 510), I was off analogs. That was July 19th, and I haven't touched one since. I hope you have good experiences from now on. A majority of vendors (TW included from the reviews) take care of their customers. Welcome aboard, and good luck with quitting the analogs. Vaping is awesome, and I'm just sad I didn't get on the train earlier than July.

After much research (I had bought an icig and although I love it, the batteries are just not dependable and I have since heard bad things about the product) I decided to go with TW and the Titan. Along with the Titan starter kit, I ordered the juice, 20 empty carts, an extra atty, the passthrough, and 2 extra batteries. I got all the accessories, but the starter kit I received was for the mini. Talk about bummed, but I called and spoke with Eric and he promised to get the right kit out to me. He explained they had new people working in shipping (I imagine business is booming) and overall I was pleased with the customer service. I have even ordered 2 more starter kits (for my brother in laws) and the mega batteries.

Bummer was that I had the stuff, but nothing to charge it with. I have been using the passthrough while waiting which chains me to the computer but hey, I am vaping!

Need to find a post about throat hits thought because I am getting lots of vapor, but no throat hit. (On day 2 with it) I even tried changing attys in case it was a bum one, but it is the same, lots of vapor, no throat hit. Using TW's Marlboro Med 11mg. I have others on order to try...

Be patient with TW guys, I am sure they will come through for us... =)

Order some of their higher Nicotine content liquids....you'll get some throat hit then ;)

Really though, congrats on starting the vaping experience. TW's stuff is awesome. I just ordered one of their Titan kits as well to have another kit on hand (like I need it  ), and they came through quickly, and the kit is awesome with the PCC and the free tin to hold my stuff.

Attys need to be "broken in", so give it a couple of days and you'll be a lot happier with the throat hit. But seriously, try the 36mg liquids, or wait on TWs new 54mg mixing liquid to make your own batches; and I think you'll be happy with the throat hits you get from that. I have some 36mg State Express on the way from TW that should be here tomorrow, or Friday...can't wait!!!!!!!

    Welcome by the way.

i placed an order with them about two weeks ago. when i still hadn't recieved my order over a week later i went to the usps site to track my order. It said my order shipped and was recieved. BUT IN INDIANA. i live in new jersey. how could this happen. I called them up and they looked it up. it was in fact delivered to indiana. all my information was correct but some how ended up there. They apologized and sent out my order again right away. i asked if it could be shipped over night and they said they couldn't but would ship it express. Okay i said.

Well almost two weeks since i placed my order i recieved it today and One of the bottles were the wrong one. sent a marlboro instead of menthol. called them up again they apologized. i said on my order sheet that ships with the order they checked of all of the items off as if they were double checking the order and on one of the loranns flavorings i also ordered they wrote in another flavor. guess that was a substitution cause they were out of stock of that flavor by the time they reshipped my order. But my menthol flavor that was checked off on the sheet wasn't what i got in the package? Who's checking these orders?????????

they said they have hired some new staff. And apologized again. I asked if they could over night it and they said no that would cost too much money and i should be receiving my order early next week. Assuming i get the right bottle this time it will be going on three weeks since i placed the order. I have ordered from them in the past many times and never had these problems. wtf is going on down there in florida??????

You know, funny you should mention that. I placed an order as well...two days ago they said it shipped. I received my last order from them (a 510 kit) 2 days after it shipped. Not this time. This was just an order for one bottle of juice. The USPS tracking number shows nothing has actually processed through any mail facility; just that the post office was electronically notified that a package was going to be given to them...not that they gave the USPS a package.

If it doesn't show up by Monday; I'll send them a note. Hope there's no problems with my order as I'm really looking forward to getting it :(
