hi all,
I just got my K-RA tank (Rebuildable Atomizer), and i do rebuilt it using 1.5 silica and Kanthal 0.15 for 4 wraps...at first i got 3.4 ohms when the wick is dry,..at wet, it decrease to 3.1 ohm,...but sometimes it go down to 2.4 or the worst it can get LO msg on my VAMO...Can anybody figure it out what happened?

hi vapdivrr, i already check the connection,...everything is fine,...

the only other thing i can think of is that the resistance is to low for the actual device, maybe try to add another wrap. but then again i am only profficient on genesis attys, so i am not sure on the device that your using, i dont even know the configurations and what it looks like. maybe someone who has this particular device will have a more accurate answer. but like i said before, sometimes when a device has a particular resistance cut-off feature and you come close to this, the device can act funny like that by jumping around and finally giving you the low Ω warning. good luck

The Vamo has a 1.3 ohm cut off. If you got Lo then your ohms were down to 1.3 ohms or lower. You probably have a short on your coils. You could check it with a digital mulit-meter and see if you can get a steady reading. If the reading keeps jumping you need to adjust the coils or wrap another.

Okay, a couple things to check on a setup like the Drunker:

- there are 2 wires coming through the bottom -- make sure the one that goes OVER the rubber grommet isn't touching the wall of the center post. You want that as tight and as straight as you can get it.
- Make sure those wires aren't touch each other at any point.
- Make sure both wires are trimmed very closely and not touching your threading.
- Make sure your center post is making a solid contact with your 510 connection

Hi Adeline, thanks for your answer...
Finally, i found what is going wrong with my setups,...the main problem was the factory supply grommet,..i don't know how, but it seems to be burned and cracked a bit just at the negative wire lead....i assume, maybe the material is not good enough to resist the heat from wire....
For my new setup, i replace those grommet with one that i get from my old Kanger T3 atty's,..its bit taller, but it can fit perfectly...and also i do new coil wraps,...this time with 3 wraps only, since i used kanthal 0.15...and when i measure it with my VAMO,..it show exactly 2.7 Ohm.

And when i vape....gosh..it works very nice...nice vapor,..nice th, and nice flavor...:vapor:
