I bought a nitecore i4 since your guys suggestions. I must admit though vaping really makes me want to start smoking again, I cant deny vaping always has problems. Whether its leaking tanks, battery problems, mod problems, ejuice problems etc. vaping can be really stressful sometimes tbh and expensive

Yep, smoking was very easy, no doubt about it. But it also sounds like you might be more interested in just the "clouds bro" aspect of vaping. There are plenty of attys and devices that are very simple and reliable that require very little in terms of maintenance and upkeep.

Yup vaping is very hard & stressful.

    Let's see:
    Charge 1.5 batteries/day
    Top off 3 tank/day
Wrap 3 new coils every three months. (use silica wicks)
Mix 400ml of juice every 4 months

Did I forget anything?? That's too simple .... I must have forgotten something!

So basically these batteries arent even suited for 200w? Would they need to be 25 amp?
Actually they should be fine. Batteries generally have two ratings. The one is for 5 seconds the other is continuous. Seeing that no one can vape for more than 5 seconds in the high 100s you should be fine.

Your unit has overheating protection and other protections and you have 3 Bats to divide the load. I wouldn't hesitate to vape on your rig.

So they actually defined Pulse ratings at 5 seconds? Last I heard, Pulse ratings were to be ignored due to lack of information as to how long a Pulse was....

I'm talking in generalities. From my recollection on some bats I've seen 5 seconds, but there is no universal definition of pulse.

Still even if only 3 seconds, I invite you to inhale for 3 seconds at 180 Watts and not cough.

I'll stand by my position that on a 3 Battery protected Ruleaux Mod even if the bat is only 20w continuous he's in safe territory. If it was a 2 Bat mod than he'd have to be more careful about choosing the batteries.

I also have vaped on the Ruleaux and found them to be solid units.
I'm not saying his mod isn't safe...I was just asking if you had found some research regarding the length of time that defined a "pulse". If not, it might not be a great idea to make up a duration. Pulse ratings are nothing more than a more impressive number to stamp on a battery to boost sales.

It's even safer to vape at ~2 amps instead of ~20.

Back when sub-ohm first started to be a "thing", I stated that a person should not exceed 50% of CDR. That would be .4 ohms on a 20 amp battery. (10 amps)
The reason for that is because as a battery ages, the mAh of the battery degrades.
As the mAh decreases so does the CDR. So a 6 month old battery used for sub ohm vaping may only be a 10 amp battery instead of a 20 amp battery.

So re-run that formula for the Ruleaux with 1 year old batteries.

You are taking a very wild guess at the length of pulse, based on zero actual data.

    Yikes. Food for thought.

I don't have anything newer than that
You do right, it's so much better making the best out of your equipment. I regretted some of the things I sell an bought them again. I have a 4 year old curve actually, the original 20 watt version. But I've bought coolfire ivs again & didn't get my first dual battery til last year...
