Not sure if this is vapor fatigue / vapors tongue?

Hey guys, so I've heard of the above mentioned symptoms of constant vaping, the whole losing taste of a certain liquid you've been vaping constantly and such, but I have a sort of weird scenario.

I get a very strange taste from some of my liquids. For instance, I bought some space jam Omega which is supposed to be peaches and cream with a hint of spices. My friends and girlfriend all seem to taste a very strong peach flavor, I however taste a weird spice flavor. It's almost a basil taste.

The weird thing is, this happens with a few different liquids, but so far it's only fruity liquids (space jams astro, and 2 of vintages liquids) which I don't vape very often. I've had some loss of flavor when I vape the same liquid constantly, but that's the thing I'm rarely vaping these liquids.

I tried using some mouthwash, staying hydrated, etc and nothing has worked.

Any tips/advice/possible info would be appreciated! I just wanna taste my juice!

According to previous posts menthol is recommended or mint. It's supposed to reset your taste buds.

Also taking a deep breath of some coffee grounds, grapefruit juice & spearmint gum.
I've done all 3 plenty of times.

I get the same thing sometimes, from different ejuice or flavors. I used to love cinnamon redhot when i first started vaping, but now if I add even a little bit to whatever I'm vaping, all I can taste is metal -- hot burnt metal. It's horrible. And I got a french vanilla ejuice from MFS when i first started... the inhale was ok, but the exhale... garlic? I don't think that's supposed to be in there, and I doubt that it is, it's just some odd chemical that hits my tastebuds weird. That's really all it is -- all flavors are made of different chemicals, and not everyone perceives those chemicals in the same way -- some love anise, licorice, etc, and I find it positively vomitous. The best thing to do with those kinds of juices or flavors is to try that flavor in a different brand -- because they're all kinda different.

Allergy maybe? Just a thought. I know when I take certain antibiotics I get a metal taste in my mouth that drives me nuts.

It's hard to tell; did you mean my weirdness with cinnamon redhot, or the OP's problems? I suppose it *could* be allergy, lord knows I have plenty of those -- the offending ingredient is cinnemaldehyde; I recently got some TFA Cinnamon Spice to try out, to see if it gives me the same as the cinnemaldehyde-based cinnamon redhot flavors.

Some of us are just blind to some flavors, and we all taste different things in each juice.

I don't know why, but juices definitely do taste different to different people! Since I've setup my 2 daughters, and they use my e-liquid, I really do notice that there are some flavors we experience very differently, even though there are others we all agree on. Older daughter LOVES MBV moo juice because it's "super-creamy strawberry". For me, it's a faint strawberry-like, with no cream. Just gave my younger daughter a bottle of something I really liked (can't quite remember which one it was) and she dumped out the tank and gave it back to me with a "Sorry, but this is disgusting!".

There are some liquids that everybody seems to agree on; I often have recommended GoodLife's "Deadly Sin" because everybody who has tried it liked it. (Stay at lower power levels if you don't like cinnamon, crank it up if you want the bite!)
