If it's a 3.5ml. DCT by smoketech, it comes with one carto and you'll need longer XL type Boge or Smoketech Cartos for replacements.
The standard one to use is a 1.5ohm Dual coil Smoketech Stainless Steel carto. You can get them pre-punched or punch them yourself. Some people use Boge XL's as well. The main thing is that it's long enough. A standard length carto is too short.

You're having a textbook case of "Paralysis by Analysis". :)
The cure is to pull the trigger.

Oh yeah, A tank is for vaping your favorite juice. the one you want to vape all day (unless you have a bunch of tanks, one for each flavor).

You still need atty's to find out what juice you like best. You still want other cartos in case you don't want to vape the same thing all day. If you have to do away with something, scrap the 3ohm Boges.

You want other cartos to use for other flavors. One tank carto = one flavor.
One regular carto = one flavor.
Once you put a flavor in a carto, whether it's in a tank or not, it's pretty much committed to that flavor.

You can clean cartos but it's a PITA and usually doesn't work all that well. I don't bother.

they have a 3.5ml duel coil tank on their site as well can I use this with the epower I am getting ? If so would I still need the boge 2.0ohm cartos, boge 3ohm cartos, and 2 bridgless 2.5ohm attys I planned to order?

For what this gear costs, which is not much when compared to the cost of cigarettes, I'd go ahead and get a variety of atomizing/fluid dispensing systems for your power unit. By all means, get the Boge 2.0 cartos (you might want to pass on the 3.0's - not sure they'd work well at 3.7V), the 3.5ml tank/clearomizer, and maybe even some Joyetech eGo-C 3-piece atomizers and tanks, which are pretty cool. The key is to just get started, and try as many different setups as you can to see which ones work for you. With those standard 510 threads you can try almost anything. Look up "eMDCC", and look into Mom and Pop's Submarine Tank. The sky's the limit.

Also consider a 14650 power unit instead of the 18650, just for the more compact size. 1100mah or so is plenty.

Happy vaping!

I am all set with my order for 18650 epower kit by smoketech from sweetvapes.com then I stopped myself to make sure I am getting what I want I want to use tank or auto feeder whatever you call it I thought I had it all figured out but sadly I dont know anymore

If I were you, as a new vapor, I would get some eGo batteries, cartomizers and juice.
Take it from there.

I have to pretty much disagree. I think the OP is on the right track with a power unit that takes replaceable batteries (and switches), and runs at 3.7 V instead of the 3.4V that (genuine Joyetech eGo anyway) eGo batteries run at.

And this is coming from someone who's vaping on a Joyetech eGo-T right now.

I see one problem with this. The dual coil carto is very likely to give you cool and maybe unsatisfying vapor on a 3.7 V device. Vendors are at fault for this - they keep naming the dual coils "low resistance" when this is a misnomer: they are rather a "high power" device, with two standard or high resistance coils requiring high voltage to run well. For most, the power they put out at 3.7 V doesn't cut it, and to add insult to injury, they not only confuse users but also some PVs such as Lavatubes and Darwin/Kick.

That said, in the dual coil tank you can still use single coil XL Smoktech (aka the Resurrector) or, if available anywhere, XXL Boges with great success.

To avoid a bad experience, make sure you stock up on 2.0 Ohm cartos, consider a regular size tank (e.g. J-tank), and get low(er) resistance atties.
