Not tasting the vape?

OK, weird problem. Just started vaping non-nic as a non-smoker (say about that what you will), and the first eliquid I am using now is Holy Smoke Bubble Gum. Problem is, I barely taste it. Am I doing something wrong? I got the hang of inhaling within a few draws, relatively low amounts of coughing, but I can't really get a taste. A bit at most. Looking at reviews of said eLiquid, I only see people praise the flavour.... I can't though. Using a eGo-T CE5 starter kit with a 1100mAh battery and a CE5 clearomizer (with wicks).

Well if you can't taste the vape, perhaps you should try another ce5.

Also you may want to order double flavor if they give you the option.

I would perhaps order k1-glassomizer tank , they come with Aspire BVC coils, and flavor should be better then with
ce5 with wicks.

Also, you might want to try something a little more powerful.
The more power, the more vapor, the more flavor !!!

This is really an awesome kit.

The "Ego One".
You can vape regulary, or change the 1 ohm heating element (atomizer), to .5 and blow huge clouds of vapor.
Check out this video.

The juice really hasn't had a taste at any point. The reviews tend to say that it does have a strong flavour.
No notes on steeping.
Have cleaned it because I one time accidentally unscrewed the tank instead of the battery... oh well, won't do that again.
Anyways, cleaned it with some stepguides on the web, but that hasn't influenced the flavour. Have ordered a K-1 and a different flavour (Strawberry Fields Forever by Flavourtec). Shall test the differences between the K-1 and the CE5.

That was good to get the k1-glassomizer.
Will produce more vapor and better flavor.

Again, if you have 1100 mah battery with no variable voltage option, you will be limited in acquiring your vaping (sweet spot).
Truthfully, after you get this K1-glassomizer, i would suggest maybe a variable voltage device.

The Eleaf Istick 20 Watt device for like $35 bucks would afford you this option.

plenty of videos on youtube for you check out on it.

But again....that "Ego One" kit is really amazing too.

p.s

You know you'll need to purchase extra coils for the k1 tank right?
each coil for me usually lasts about 2 weeks or so.

Popular ejuice flavors here

And Mt. Baker Vapor has good ejuice relatively inexpensive. (they say Hawksauce is great) over there.

to ecf TDO1234. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. Just a wonderful place. I remember when I first started vaping I tried a bubblegum flavored and it was a very weak to me. I would suggest trying other flavors. There are so many out there now. While you are trying to find flavors to that make your taste buds dance, here is a thread that I visited daily looking for good deals.

I have a bottle of Utopia from Lotus' "Heavenly" line. It's bubblegum, and I can hardly taste it. At first I thought it might be a case of "vaper's tongue", but since then I've a little bit more luck when I use my variable battery (ego-c twist) set higher than the standard 3.7 volts I get with my regular battery sticks... 4-4.2 seems to be the most successful area of voltage for me. The bottle also got a chance to steep for a couple weeks before I tried the new, variable battery. It's still not as strong as I'd like it to be, though. Maybe bubblegum flavors, in general, might not be that potent?

It's amazing the difference in flavour a small upgrade in equipment can make. To get started I bought a friends Kanger tank(from pictures it's either the T1, 2, or 3), and EVOD battery. Two days ago I got a Subtank Mini and 30w iStick and am blown away at the difference. Flavour, feel, and cloud size & density. Well worth every penny.

Got the K-1 today... yes, much better. The taste isn't very strong, but it's there unlike with the CE5. The smell of bubble gum is also more potent. Thanks for the suggestions!

Glad I was able to help you out.!
Don't forget to click on link i posted in earlier post for 1.6 ohm BVC replacement coils for the K1-glassomizer o.k !

Friend of mine got the 20w at our local store for $60(too impatient to order online) and a Nautilus Mini as an upgrade from a Kanger EMOW and Aspire carbon fibre battery. I tried his and knew I just had to get a better one for myself. Five days later I go back to the same store and pay the same price for the 30 and the 20 was down to I think $45.

I'm content with my setup for the time being other than the fact that I'd like to get another tank soon to have 2 flavours always available. So far my first 2 1/2 weeks, I've just had 1 flavour in mine. I sampled some others at the shop and tried a couple friends but have stuck with whats been in there since the beginning so far. I definitely love it and want to keep it always available in one tank(Synergy Prime). Then I'll have the second one to rotate out different things and trying new things I'm not sure about. I was thinking maybe a Subtank Nano or another Mini to go with the Mini and my regular juice. I'd also like to get something different too just to have variety. I'm just extremely happy with the Sub Mini and have always been an advocate of the "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" policy. But something like a Delta 2 could be cool.

Definitely see if you can find a vape shop near you. It took me some time to find certain flavors I liked more than others, and there are some that I just don't really get a good flavor from. (poor grammar there, sorry! lol) I also found that when I first went from cigs to vaping, my taste buds weren't in the greatest shape either. You have to remember what cigs can do to your sense of taste and smell. Over time, you'll notice you'll get a better sense of flavors - both in your mouth, your sense of smell, your exhale etc. (coughing is normal too..I did that for the first 2 weeks or so...I think it's just your lungs clearing out a bit). Don't be surprised if you also go for a week here and there where you seem to have no taste for flavor at all. It'll come back to you. Some ejuice producers have flavor boosts you can add to your order. I found that really helpful.

You may want to try Ego One tank.
there's the 1.8 ml, and the 2.5 ml tanks.
i'd get the 2.5 ml myself.
Uses .5 ohm or 1 ohm coils.
I'd maybe just use the 1 ohm coils on your 30w istick, but it will fire the .5 ohm ones.
Tons of vapor, and is best looking tank i've seen.
