I started with a mall bought "Smoking Everywhere" also. Lasted about a week before i bought a used Ken's Big Brother dripper. After several close calls in my truck (dripping and driving) I found ECF and Reo's. Bought my first Grand around Sept '10. I'm puffing on it right now! Proud owner of Nebula, 2 VVG's and my trusty Grand! I own no other mods. Whats the frigin point?

I use 5 pvs every day, only 1 of them is a Reo (please, don't throw things at me... *ducks*). I am just not a 1-juice vaper and I like to switch up sizes and form factors. BUT... I recently moved cross country and on that 3 day drive my Reo was my driving pv. I never had to take my eyes off the road or think about juice or batteries or swapping tanks... just squonk and drive. It was so nice.
My VVG is still my most prized pv and my most prized juice is always in it. :)

I have only had my Reo for a short time but I'm in the same boat. I can vape 3-4 flavors in a day, normally have many more on hand. Swapping JDS's is much easier. Still love the reo though. Might have to order another tomorrow, just cannot decide on color/model.

the copper vein 1 on the site is soooo pretty!!
.....and the hammer tone,.....and the copper vein......and......Heck, for $600, you could have several new REOs.....

And I'd do the same thing....sell it and get another REO.

At the shore...
I am looking for an old VV woodville, something about the history there just makes me want to own it. I wish I would have been in a better place at the time the Sales nights were happening. Maybe we will have the experience with the next wave :)

I'm an optimist (though not always the most patient)-- regardless, we will get the opportunity!

Well, you used to not be able to just go to the REO site and buy a REO. There was a Sale night where you would sit at your computer and hit F5 for hours on end hoping to get a REO. If you were one of the lucky ones you got to show off your purchase while you consoled the ones that were not able to buy one. I never was involved, but I have read the stories. To me that is part of our vaping history. The things that we will cling to as the old days. Now there are very few mods that this is an issue with. I can see a sales night for the Woodvilles and I fully plan on being there win or lose to console, congratulate, or brag :D

Most sales of the wood REO's, Woodvil, Woodvil 18490, Mini Woodvil, and VV Woodvil didn't last long at all! I think with the Woodvil 18490 there were some left the next day. The others sold out within an hour. I have seen sales that lasted less than 1/2 an hour.

For a long time all REO's were put up on a sale night. Frequently you could go to reosmods and not see any REO listed for purchase.

There was a thread about what to do on sale night:

OMG... I was drooling looking at all those but I really think some folks need to stop hoarding the woodie's because some of the rest of us would like to get our hands on a beautiful woodie too!! BEAUTIFUL!! I don't even like purple but that purple 1 was blow your hair back gorgeous!!

I know they are truly works of art, hand crafted and performance beasts!

I don't hoard, I have a collection of pieces of REO history!

One day Robert will make more. Those that are watchful and prepared will be able to procure a brand new, one of a kind, masterpiece!

I am guilty of being a vape stuff hoarder, not just REOs. I am used to the luxury of VV and VW and my all day vaping is either russian (Semowar and Kayfun), greek (GGTS, Kick, Ody) or a REO VVG or VVW with RBAs or Cisco 306/510.

At any given time, I will have 3 to 6 different setups in range, because I love to vary the flavor. That said, my girl is even worse at that, usually having 8+ PVs beside her.

Different juices need different set ups - some (Vanilla Custard) are really best in the Kayfun, some (Menthol types) in Genisis, some (Absinthe) in a Pro Tank, some (VG heavy, Bobas Bounty, House of Liquids Guevara) are best in the REOs.

My backup devices and the ones I depend on for long trips or the zombie apocalypse are mechanical REOs, though, as well as the stealthy Mini 14500 I keep with high strength juice in a holster at my belt. They are lacking the consistency of a regulated device, but you get drive-them-over-with-a-truck-and-still-vape indestructabilty in return.

So, even if I am not a true and complete REOnut, I can compare the REOs well with other forms of vaping and I can fully understand how people don't want to use anything else.
