Not too happy right now...

1) Vamo Head IS just press fit. Press fit may mean more of a challenge than you are prepared to deal with.
2) No way of knowing if you have kept it in good condition or knocked it over a dozen times. I've dumped mine a few times.
Yes, it sounds like your board is out of line.

When considering price Nothing comes close to Vamo's capabilities and when properly cared for they do last. there are sever threads on correction minor issued that may develop from improper care/use.

Moving on, sigelei z-max is next in line.

My, now 22 month old Vamo v1 still works great.

Well I don't know what you consider improper care or normal wear and tear but I will say that it has rolled off my desk on to the carpeted floor twice with no effects. The button sticking happened when I was driving after checked the resistance on my atomizer before beginning my trip. The next button press was the fire button and I got the burnt taste and didn't know why. I primed the head a bit and tried again and that's when I noticed my wattage was turned up to 12.5 and with every little tap on the body it would go up even more. Other than the two drops from my desk which is about 3 ft onto a padded carpeted floor with no apparent effects, I don't see how a button press could mess it up unless the drops caused the board to shake loose a little and the button press a few days later was the final straw. I don't get it but whatever. I'm glad yours lasted but mine sure didn't, proper care or not.

Another vote for the MVP, though I've only had two v1 of the MVP (VV only). I currently have 2 iTaste VV's v3 and love them using VW mode. FOr the money I don't think you can beat innokin's price points. Currently waiting on a BoxMod with a DNA30 chip. Personally I like the box over tube. Haven't felt the need to be Luke Skywalker in a long time.

So I finally got my Vamo apart and it turns out the button is just broken, not out of alignment. It just stays depressed. The company was nice enough to send me a new one even though I voided the warranty by taking it apart. I will try my luck with the new one and will probably get an MVP along with it as a backup. Thanks for the suggestions and info folks :)

I did notice with my vamo that I'll be vaping on 4.0 volts and then all of a sudden I'm getting a burnt taste and it's somehow set at 4.3. -_- But it happens on a rarity.

I am waiting on the response from the company but if they want to send me another Vamo I don't know if I would be happy with it knowing that I would need something else on standby anyway. If they refund my money I might just get two of something else in case something bad happens. So regardless I still want to get something more reliable for a backup.

It's always better to have a backup

Glad you got the situation taken care of. Mvp2 is a great device and I think you will like it. If you ever want to get into building your own coils and want a device that will run lower resistance coils may I make a suggestion for a good VW device? The ipv2 50 watt is a wonderful device. It allows you to vape down to .2 sub ohm. It has some of the newer technology with the yihi sx330 v2 chip inside. It has touch firing along with traditional firing. It has a adjustable 510 connection, and it's well made. It's lighter than the mvp2 but slightly taller. It will give you a consistent vape up to 50 watts. Display reads battery, volts, watts, and ohms. It's easy to lock and unlock. I have one and I've not had any problems whatsoever with it. In fact, I love mine. It comes with a wall charger and takes one 18650 battery. All my atomizers sit flush with the device. It's really a great mod with less restrictions. It costs about 110. Dollars but is worth every cent! So if you ever want a mod that allows lower ohm vaping this would be a great choice. Hope this helps. Best wishes

Probably a dumb question, but have you tried switching batteries? It sounds like your board or switch is the culprit, but I'm always amazed the range of issues I see resolved which wind up with a faulty battery as the cause.

I know you want VW, but after going through Aerotonks and Nautiluses on various devices, I recently went bottom-feeder mechanical (Reo,) and I can't remember why I wanted VV/VW.
