'nother great pick ~ I saw Jesse Collin Young at the first Day on the Green in '73. With Joe Walsh, the Band and CSNY. One of the best (non Dead) concerts I ever saw !!!!

(I actually saw this show... in a 3,000 seat auditorium!! They had a 25 piece orchestra and a 50 voice choir on stage with them... THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER SEEN!!!)

That's amazing! He would be proud. I listen to all kinds of music, new and old, but I like Cash's songs because they're like a story set to music. He's also done some of the best covers of newer songs I've ever heard. For example, his cover of Soundgardens Rusty Cage.

When I was a child my Mom listened to a lot of Johnny Cash. As I got a little older and learned more about him, his life became a light of hope for me that no matter what has been in the past, you can always choose a better path for the now and the future.
