Hi folks! How are you doing today? I'm fine. Sun is shining and I don't have to work today. Wehey :)

Well, Here's a new song from one of my favorite bands ever: Korpiklaani. We finns like irish people, and it kinda shows in our music as well. The song has no english translation (sorry about that) but it's all about drinking and having fun :) It has spanish subtitles, so all of you who can understand spanish - good for you :)

Marv, I have a Hewie Lewis cd in my collection somewhere :) We all have such diverse tastes in music, I listened to a lot more metal when I was younger but now I prefer more mellow, folk and acoustic. I have seen quite a few of Celtic Woman's videos and like her very much! Thank you for tossing those out here for me!

Even tho your favorites aren't something I'd listen to every day, I enjoy your sharing of the music that makes you sing :)

That's nice to hear :) Thank you :) As I mentioned before, I don't think that there's much difference between acoustic folk music and heavy metal - it's all about melody anyways. There might be distorted guitars around, but that's all part of that heavy metal scene. Of course I understand you point, and I think I can relate to that. I also like pure melodic/acoustic music - that's what music actually is. Acoustic music is excellent - I just can't help hearing the heavy side of it. Maybe I grow up someday :) (I'm 40 years old already, so I guess it's about time :D)

Title: What an American thinks about Finland.

Pretty funny guy, all in all :) He thinks finns are bad ... 'couse he's been driving like 400km and nobody pays attention. Well in 1949 we were up against the world most advanced military force - the russian army. All 2 million of them against of our puny little nation of 300 000 soldiers including reserves. And we won that war!!! Nobody expected that! We were supposed to die! Bad ...... You can say that again...

Even thou he's a nice bloke, and I kinda like him, I think he should take some history lessons before making such statements. Cool guy nevertheless :)
