'Mixed' tapes?? Then they must have been reel-to-reel (ha!) because I remember driving through Topanga Canyon with a bunch of friends, and that song blasting away on the 8-track player... singing along at the top of our lungs!!!

I just had to add a little something about Ambrosia here... seeing as how they were a local band and all, and used to rehearse in a friend of a friend's garage... LOL!!
We had high hopes for our home grown prog band, watching them go from playing the college crowds, to signing with a major label. But then they turned into the Pop Divas and it was all downhill from there (for us at least). They eventually ended up playing at County Fairs in oldies (?) shows... Ha!! (the keyboard player, Chris North, was in a friend's Blues band for a while, too)

Now they have reformed, without David Pack, and are sounding better than ever!!!
