When I think of eight tracks and Chevelle's I think of this song, an older friend had a Chevelle and this song was popular at the time, may have been the first time I heard an eight track.

I guess most people think of Steely Dan for their 'Pop' songs... and don't realize what a great song writing duo Becker and Fagen really are!!
Also because they aren't really a touring "band"... LOL!!

When I saw them, Pretzel Logic had just come out, but this is one of my faves from a few years later...

This was a 'concert' they had in one of the sound stages at the Record Plant (a studio in Hollywood) and a friend of mine went to it... where I saw them was at the same auditorium where I saw Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, Genesis (w/Peter Gabriel) and a lot of other great shows!!
