The old threads get archived. They are still around, just locked for posting. All of this will still be available for reading. Large threads have had to be closed and Part2's; Part 3....etc.... Are started.
I for one always took the "provarinati" cult thing as a tounge firmly in cheek jest,,, that is one of the big reasons I like this forum, It takes someone who is truly comfortable with themselves to be able to poke fun at themselves and laugh.
Wherever this place goes I intend to follow, with the exception of facebook/twitter, ,,,,

I had just noticed he was reading this thread.
Going back a few pages when being hosted by ProVape was suggested - Robin has a very good point about supplier's not wanting other products to be discussed in their forum. I don't like that kind of restraint. If someone gets a Semovar, I'd like to know what they think of it (as long as they don't bash Our Beloved One in the process).
After I saw your post, I saw that he was also. Hopefully he sees that there is a need for a social group for the ProVarinati.
In the HHV Army, we discuss everything, even other vendors liquids. Yes, we are all in love with HHV but we talk about Everything. Some vendors may be ok with that....
I'm pretty sure that is up to the supplier.
In the Aroma subforum, there's an active thread discussing the other WTA competitors...some if it is negative, but for the most part it isn't. Mentions of other juice brands and flavors isn't encouraged, but neither is it discouraged.
I'm going to take a wait and see attitude. If censorship runs rampant, I'll go elsewhere...most likely into the waiting arms of the ProVari clubhouse or whatever it ends up being called, but I'd like to give the ProVape forum a chance. I'd like to see how members of the ProVape team respond to some of the more playful threads.
I don't want that kind of restraint either. And even if it's not there, I kind of cringe when someone posts a totally non-vendor picture of a competitor's equipment. It seems a bit disrespectful even though no one is doing it intentionally.
Not at all. In fact Adam, owner of HHV, cannot post in there.
It is totally run by Bronze, GThompson and I. Bronze is the owner of the original thread that got too big for the E-liquid section of the forum (chit chat thread). By default he then was named owner of the forum. Even though we are the mods of that forum, everything is pretty much a joint effort by the regulars of the forum.
If an idea comes up by someone and they can't, say put up a sticky, they can start the thread and one of us mods can sticky it for them. That's how the HHV Reviews started.

That's what I was referring to - you aren't under the thumb of a vendor. Besides, even if ProVape decided to host us, I doubt we would get more than just one thread. I want to make stickies dam it!

When I started smoking I smoked in the lunch room after eating lunch. At my work desk. Most restaurants, no such thing as a smoking section. In the doctors office waiting room. In grocery stores and most other stores. Heck, this change ain't nuttin. Guess I'm sorta gettin older. JMHO
