Ok so i got a few viva's,some cotton(peach n cream #4 from walmart and 32g a1 kanthal
and i get to rebuilding and holy smokes this is what i have been searching for.
2 years i have been looking for a setup like this.(low cost in mind).
Anyways I'm using a lavatube and all my juices work great and last so far a longtime(a week with no messing with anything!)
So I drop one of my new flavors in (French toast 24mg 100%pg from juicy vapors).
Its a semi dark juice but not thick at all.kinda of sweet.
After 2 hrs I look at the wick and its gettin a lil burnt and i can taste it.It doesnt go away.
Ive tried about 8 different setups, more wraps of my coil(got it up to 2.8 ohms)longer loops ,looser wraps around
the wick so it don't chock it.4 strands,3,2 strand of wick, cotton on top of the coil as well.
No matter if the coil is 1.9 ohms or 2.8 ohms i cant take the lavatube up more then 3.4v(any higher burnt taste right away)

Ok i know I'm not going to get as long as a lighter colored juice but I'd like at least a day with no fuss,am I doing something wrong?
Will adding some vg to my juice only make it worse? What about adding a little distilled water?I dont mind the cut taking down the nic a little bit.

And when i start off fresh rebuilt atty I burn kanthal till it glows first, cotton is boiled, wick is prewet and i give short burst to the coil to make sure i dont burn it from the start...

Any help pls?
I hope someone can chime in and help me cause this juice taste really good.

I have noticed some juices burn easier then others. I love orange flavored juices but noticed they would have a burnt taste some times unless I was at 3.2volts but other juices were fine at higher volts. I figured out that if I take out one strand from my wick (BTW I use the same yarn) leaving 3 instead of 4 strands that it gets rid of the burnt taste. I assume it is getting more juice to the coil keeping it cooler since when I notched the silicone cap it also kept the juice from burning.
