Just an update on my attempts to build a better coil...

I tried threading the wick through one of the holes on the side of the cap, then the coil itself, then the other hole. The theory was to wick like the Kangertech BDC's. Unfortunately the wick did not like this idea, thus, refused to thread. I tried several threading methods, but this failed with several inches of wick attempt winding up in the trash.

So again I tried to make the vertical coil build, and saturated the coil so bad I went through 3/4 tank of juice...good thing I am making my own now. So this method is not working for me.

Last, I switched up to trying Peaches & Cream yarn. This was the best coil I have ever built because the flavor and TH was awesome...but all good things must come to an end, which this did very quickly. I would say I hit this on 3.5v (8/7 wraps, 1/16" I.D., 1.5ohm double coil build) probably about 20 times within 30 minutes before it began to have a very bad taste, my guess is from being burnt very quickly. I'm not sure if this was from too much or too little yarn that was used, it threaded through quite nicely. However, even though I detest wasting this is something I am definitely going to have to try again because the first 30 minutes was great.

I keep getting coils that once built need to be tweaked to get the top legs from touching any part of the bottom coil. I have never been able to re-use the tiny leg insulators on the stock coils. Does anyone know where to get a replacement supply at? I have no idea what to look for...

I will try using a bit of adhesive tape to insulate the legs of the top coil.
