The American Cancer Society has published suggestions for Great American Smokout day activities.

Wouldn't November 17th be a great day for vapers to openly use their PVs and carry cards to hand to smokers and non-smokers who ask questions.

I like to walk up to people who are standing outside smoking, pull out my PV, point to their cigarette and say, "That's so 20th Century. This is the future of smoking." Of course I smile when I say it. So far it has proven to be a great conversation-starter.

That's every day for me. I may have convinced a Philadelphia District Attorney to switch to e-cigs last night. I even gave him half-a-package of Swedish Snus and explained that smokers have twice the risk of oral cancer. He was apprehensive, but I told him I wasn't going to take it back, and that he should use one the next time he has a nicotine fit and doesn't want to go outside.

RJ Reynolds has informed me that it will run full page advertisements urging smokers to switch to Camel Snus on the Great American Smokeout on November 17, similar to Camel Snus ads that Reynolds ran for New Year's Day, Valentines Day and when NY City's outdoor smoking ban went into effect.

Nothing quite like RJ Reynolds promoting the American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout by urging smokers to switch to Camel Snus.

if only they'd promote it even better by making a snus that doesn't taste like coffee flavored saw dust lol
