Imeo, if your father had knee replacement surgery, he will soon get a new lease of life. My mother had the operation about three months ago and we have a new woman, from someone who could barely walk to someone who is once again very active and looking forward to the same operation in her other knee.
The first days will be tough and physiotherapy and the exercises will hurt but they will be well worth it. Take as much care of your father as you can. He cannot be replaced.
