not to cause trouble but I just googled it and Kristin your name is the 6th reply. Im not saying anyone is right or wrong, im just saying that even if a person says hey dont use that word... poof now it shows up. I run a gaming site that has been around for about 5 years, we also use php forums. I know a lot of stuff shouldn't be said, and when it dose its always in a context we dont want it in. Maybe the admin of this forum can add a script to kick the google bots out of here too. Again im not saying its ok, but when it does happen the monster google bot cant get it.

I'm not trying to change ASH and other's minds. I'm trying to preempt ASH and others being able to use our words against us to influence public opinion. The gavel hasn't dropped in a lot of places yet, because most people haven't even heard of an e-cig. ASH is against us and wants to turn the general public against us. If we can keep public opinion in favor of e-cigs, it will help our cause in the future - even if the FDA gets control.
If the FDA does decide to ban them, the fight is not over. We can take it to the court of public opinion and get them fighting on OUR side.
That'll be hard if ASH prints their propoganda and says, "Look, even they say they're getting bu**ed and h*gh on these things! Kids will want them!" We all know that is NOT true.
They'll twist our innocent words to get public opinion on their side. THAT is what I'm trying to avoid - giving them ammunition.

LOL! I don't get the same result in google, but the cat was already kind of out of the bag by the time I posted, lol! I just meant that we shouldn't make it a habit to use those words overall and in the future.

I really do not understand how they can say flavored cigs draw in kids.
ANymore then they could say flavored alchol appeals to kids. both are dangerous substances, both alchol and cigarettes can cause illness and disease, but you don't see them regulating all alchol to 2 flavors. For that matter caffine can kill and look at all the different flavors of coffee, tea, and soda! Also I don't see any warning labels on my Maxwell house or my Pepsi! For that matter ever since people started dying from caffine OD there has been a huge increase in Energy drinks which ARE sold to minors ( in many different flavors ) along with NoDOZ and several other FDA approved caffine pills!
I compleately agree with Gazoo, at some point this is considered meddeling, Plain and simple!
This is a wonderful alternative to smoking IT can save our lives, people have a need for this and they DO want it! Why can't the FDA concentrate on making it Safe instead of banning it?
