I think it's one of the most extraordinary thoughts I have had in a long time... I feel as though I can quit.

I don't wake up with that nagging sensation that I must vape -- I usually vape about an hour after I get up, whereas with cigarettes, I smoked within a half hour.

I don't chain vape before I go out... sometimes I would have a cigarette or two before going to visit where smoking wasn't allowed. I guess that's because I know I can stealth vape, but the weird thing is, I had a four hour visit somewhere recently and didn't even feel like stealth vaping!

I'm not quitting, but I just feel as though I can! It is a very empowering feeling!

What about you?

I know exactly what you mean. I've lost that urge to "get in that cig before..." I've only been off analogs for 1 week. I was even at a party yesterday that a lot of people were smoking. Thought I might have that urge to have just one but surprisingly I didn't. Was perfectly happy with my PV and I think I might have converted 3 people over to trying PV's. It does feel great!

I was a 1.5-2 pack-a-day smoker for literally decades. I got my first PV equipment about 6 weeks ago.

Friday my mom asked me to drive her quite a ways to see some family. It's about an hour drive, we stayed for about 4-1/2 hours, and an hour drive back. I had neither a cigarette, nor any vaping that entire time. That was a huge accomplishment for me. I usually would have huffed down 2 cigarettes chain-style before the drive, stopped in the driveway as soon as we got there for another cigarette, and snuck out at least 3-4 times during the visit, and again before we left.

Yes, I feel like I can quit, and probably both habits. I have to confess that I still have 1-2 cigarettes a day, but I'm slowly feeling the need for those less and less. Vaping is a great NRT, no matter what any study says. I never thought I'd have two cigarettes left in a pack and feel comfortable that I don't need to go buy two packs.

You know how they say you can only quit cigarettes if you actually want to, meaning no other influences on your decision? I feel that translates to vaping. Instead of asking myself could I quit vaping, I end up asking myself why would I want to, which just leads me to think that I couldn't. Then again, there's the other saying that says if you think you can, you can. If you think you can't, you can't.

I'm going to stick with I can't because I don't want to

No. I couldn't just quit. I'd go insane. I've only been analog free for a little over 2 weeks. I vape incessantly now. I grab it when I wake up, when I'm driving, when ...well you get the idea. I just ate dinner and was vaping then, LOL (Coffee flavor is good while you eat!) It's the only thing that keeps me from smoking. But so far so good!

Perhaps I don't meet the definition of "vaping a while" in your title...

The thought of quitting smoking was always one that caused some anxiety. I quit smoking and took up vaping to replace the nicotine addiction. But now I think I could actually quit vaping too. It doesn't cause the anxiety that the thought of quitting smoking did. I definitely agree, there are other addictive substances in tobacco that must have had an effect. Now that they're out of my life I think it would be much easier to eliminate the nicotine as well.

Outstanding! Thank goodness for vaping.... I don't think I would have had this empowering feeling that I could quit without this experience! I'm not quitting, but I feel like I can!
