I 'feel' your frustration & your heartbreak Saintscruiser :( The 'politics' of the Israeli/Arab conflict is so complex, just suffice it to say that the 'half-brothers' of Abraham will never stop fighting over the Inheritance that God stated was rightfully Issaic's. The Book of Revelation tells us that, even while hundreds of thousands of Christians & other Religions alike tell us that Book should've been removed from the Bible years ago... (lol) I mean, let's look at the 'bigger' picture... Our job's are to 'wake up' everyone just as you posted above Saintscruiser, how then are we supposed to do that when Christian's themselves say the Bible is not God's unerring word but a book of inaccurately translated misinformation? How can anyone possibly 'know' the Character, Heart, mind & will of God without some form of written word? How would ANYONE come to Salvation without God's written word? What 'rules' would we live by & which ones would we know NOT to break? I've read precious LisaLisa's post about the hard questions people she's tried to witness to have posed to her about the God that appeared to be a 'meanie' to them and how these questions launched her into a deeper search to interpret those meanings, and when she discovered the truth from that brilliant search the answer was God is not a 'meanie' but a perfect Father who has always been 'just' and 'right' in all His dealings with His Children, wayward & otherwise. Why is the Bible the ONLY inaccurate word of God? Is it because it's the ONLY one that is truly correct? Could it be the Devil has done His job so well that Christ was correct when He said "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter ... For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction" - Matthew 7:13 Note how Christ said the way is 'easy' that leads to destruction? I guess it takes the simple Faith of a Child to take God at His 'word' in simple Faith that all will be given the opportunity (borne out of 'free will') to choose the narrow path to accept Christ & find salvation, or to choose the many other hundreds of wide roads that lead to destruction... because let's face us, they are 'easier' roads... they make more 'sense' to the carnal minds of Men and require 'less' of us. So herein lies the burden of our great commissions to win souls for Christ and that is, plant the 'seeds' of the 'good news of the Gospel' of Christ and then PRAY that the Lord of the Harvest will finish the work we've begun. It does us no good to argue with People... People (even professing Christians) believe what they believe whether it's the truth or not because Christianity to most is a 'title' or a belief system not truly grounded in a 'living' holy-spirit grounded relationship with a Living Christ. It's something we can 'share' with People, but we can not 'give' it to them. So I guess we continue in our Love walks & pray without ceasing. We cling to the foot of Christ's garments like our very lives depend upon on it because they do. Pray for our Enemies, bless those who persecute us but continue steadfast in the spreading of the Gospel. We're not to compromise ever, but we must always 'speak the truth in Love' and this is not the easiest thing to do in a World that requires 'political correctness' and if you're not 'politically correct' then you're a hate monger. It's almost like we can't win nowadays, but my prayers are we just keep on keepin' on.. (lol) I thank God for the body of Christ that is unwavering in these last days, not affected by the 'winds of false doctrines' of many Men that will sway & deceive many. I pray that we will not be swayed precious Sisters and I 'know' that it is your most fervent prayers also.

Very good post sis!! I have been in ministry and teaching the Bible for many years now. It seems to get tougher every year. Pride and prejudice grows increasingly and the saved/being saved are fewer and fewer. It is much easier to set oneself up as a "god" and never feel the need for a savior. We (America) are much like the Israel of old. God has given us a land...He has given us a law..and He has given us a Lord. I too am thankful for the body of Christ but I am not thankful for the complacency that people show for the body. The American people (people in general) do need to wake up. The Bible does not promise the America will be the last great empire as many believe. God giveth..God taketh away...if we reject Him, He will surely reject us. Isaiah and others preached the same to Israel but they would not listen. It was God who brought her to her knees.

I heard this preached somewhere and it rings truth to me. Every time there is a slaughter of babies, a Deliverer is coming. There was Moses, Jesus, and Jesus will be coming again. Glory to God!

I can't understand slaughtering of babies. My mind cannot wrap around it. It is pure evil, straight from the pits of hell/hades. I won't get on a tirade, however, look for your Deliverer.

That 'face' gets me every time also Linda!!!!!!

Yes! Our redeemer liveth and those precious murdered Angels will be recompensed! "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, Vengeance is MINE, I will repay!, sayeth the Lord!"

*(Let me clarify this post to say that if 'anyone' within this Forum has 'aborted/murdered' an unborn Baby.. the enemy prefers to call them 'fetus's' so as not to imply it as being human, but a mass of tissue.... do NOT think we are saying this to condemn you. If you've been 'saved' by Christ you are no longer under condemnation for past sins, they have been 'remembered no more' by our Lord)... but to those who continue to murder the precious innocents.. the LORD is coming soon with a sword of judgment & righteousness will once again be executed upon the Earth! Amen! Hallelujah!

There goes those goose bumps again. Actually, I agree with you 2000% and your last sentence got me so excited! Amein! Hallelujah! I'm so glad I finally learned how to spell that.....I'm only 105 years old and I think it's time. :)
