the pic is of the inside of the tank atomizer the
connection is 510
i do not think they are the same atomizer

May be the case as well, but the description certainly seemed to fit to me. I am not any authority on the matter and you would know better :). I guess it is just a knock off from another company but I can't find the source.

You're absolutely right, but in the case of this thread, there was someone else that wasn't willing at the time of my message to disclose who they had purchased from. So in support of the OP's decision to keep names off the thread I did so. But in my personal experience I had no issue mentioning the vendor, and will continue to due so when I see fit.

You're right however, I should post it in the Vendor Review section as previously stated by NoizMaker. I was only keeping with the general mindset of the OP, which is why I remained cryptic in my responses.

Fair enough... I suppose it IS the op's thread, and I can see how you may have thought that might've been a little out of line.

However, I'm glad to know that someone else thinks this serious issue deserves its own thread... I thought I had entered into the twilight zone when I was getting nothing but resistance and/or ignored by everyone regarding my comments. Then again, I didn't realize this was being discussed in the Ego-T review thread.

Because of my status change I can no longer post at will and it becomes cumbersome at times.

It would help vendors and members if vendors would get the appropriate pictures for their sites from the manufacturer vice acquiring them from the Internet at large. Yes I have seen this on more than one occasion.

It also helps if folks look for a quality product vice the cheapest one around. Yes I know money doesn't grow on trees but at the same time buying several questionable products cost you more than the original in the long run.

Threads are not necessarily needed for this type of discussion in the open forum. However, there is a place for conflicts to be revolved Reviews of Suppliers <<Reviews of Suppliers in E-Cigarette Forum, This board is for thanking suppliers for good service, or for service / delivery issues. Anyone may post here. Suppliers can post replies in threads that are about their business ONLY. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reviews-suppliers/144276-how-forum-works.html <---- the rules of how that sub works.

... and in closing many folks do not often read the entire post and jump into a conversation half way through or at the end. Not saying this is what is happening here or has happened here, but I see it often enough to comment. I also understand the Canadian sub is a comfortable place, but ECF is a large resourceful site and most often the correct answer can be found in the appropriate sub-forum.

I usually just jump to your posts to find the answers lol. I figured you'd be awake as I haven't gone to bed yet on the west coast. Hope all is well!

I'm not sure what is happening in Canada, is it a full moon or something?

We get more reports with issues from this part of the forum than any other. Take this however you want, but everyone needs to clean up their act or we will re-evaluate when people are allowed and not allowed to post.

I think everyone here is an adult, let's try and live up to that standard, please.

Hey guys, to shed some light on the issue, that hasn’t been addressed already..

    1) Spotting a “fake”.

Joye has not done a good job releasing the eGO-T. They put it out on the market before they had enough supply. This has meant that eGO-T’s have been shipped in boxes that say eGO. eGO-T’s shipped with the regular eGO 650mah battery. I learnt about them coming with the 5 click off batteries here. To this day I can’t tell you what battery the eGO-T is “supposed” to have. As a result as suppliers, we’ve been made to look a bit foolish on the release of this product, through no fault of our own.

To add even more to the confusion, there is another manufacture who is trying to sell their product by sending us retailers pictures of the Joye eGO-T as their own. It’s a confusing mess all around. I don’t think any retailers would be tricked by that, but I just want to let you all in on the confusion surrounding this market.

I have no idea the specifics about other vendors, nor can I comment if I did. My only advice is to take the above information into consideration, open a dialog with who you have a problem with and get to the bottom of it together.

    2) Juice..

I have a feeling that not all juices are going to work with the eGO-T. It’s a new product and hasn’t been tested with everything that is out there. Maybe a certain combination can work with conventional atomizers, but won’t work with the tank system. That could be the root of the issue.

    3) eGo-T won’t be for everyone.

I don’t think there is a product on the market that everyone likes. It is possible the eGO-T just isn’t for everyone. For anyone who likes a hot vapor like from a 510 atomizer, the cool vapor for the eGO-T will not be for them and may give them the sensation of less vapor. “Massive” amounts of vapor is relative. If you use a pair of LR attys on a HV mod, well, the eGO-T would be pathetic in comparison. From what I’ve seen, the good reviews are legit, as are the bad reviews, just there are MANY factors that must be considered, and in the end it all comes down to what PV is right for you, there isn’t a perfect one for everyone.

    +1

Vendors that have been around a while do know who are legit and who are not from the supply chain. OTOH and unfortunately for the community, some that set up shop after but the briefest exposures to e-cigs may not. Are they doing it out of malice? I don't think so. But they are definitely operating uninformed.

Wow guys… I had no idea I’d get such a huge response from all this. I feel a bit sheepish. I just want to quit smoking, not battle the black market!

Right now it seems like I have a regular Ego battery, with a regular Ego kit (minus the pouch – I forgot to mention that piece was omitted!), but with Bauway carts and god knows what atomizer. Hahaha…

Anyways I need to move on, so here’s my next purchase:

    - regular Joye Ego atomizer with carts and drip tip
    - a pack of Ego cartomizers
    - Joye ego-T atomizer and tanks from a different vendor
    - Cisco LR 306 atomizer and drip tip

With that, I’ll have 4-5 different methods to experiment with and hopefully find something that I like. I also want to try a PG/VG mix. Where can I buy that? Seems like most suppliers do 100% PG or VG, or they don’t have nicotine. I don’t want to order from the States.

Sigh… so is that a good order? Any suggestions?

Can't help you with your hardware stuff since I only like using the standard JoyE Ego with standard atty & SuperT driptips or Boge cartos while driving, in addition to my mods (also using the same).....

But for a good choice of PG/VG ratio's, flavours (even double flavour if you want it), and nic selections (and in Canada)..... I've been buying very satisfied from Vapables with fast shipping (even a ship free option) here: (direct link to DYO = Do Your Own custom juice) DYO
