Any pics of the airflow control set up, and how is that negative post secured?

And are folks O-ringing these to the REO? If so what size?

Heck since I'm asking a zillion questions, what size O-rings are used in the Cyclone, nothings better than a broken O-ring to make a great day start to suck?!

Hmmm... flavour hound, double or single coils, afc... yep, the cyclone with afc is your huckleberry, and catfish would where to get it (<$120, shipped).

The key restriction in choice will be your desire to run optional duals (well).

My thing with dual coils and not wanting to mess with the atty is not insurmountable, I'm generally not fond of drilling into fairly expensive bits of metal when a small mistake might cost me more than a hundred dollars.

I can easily conceive of how to convert an adjustable airflow single to work in single, or double air intake modes.

I just don't like the increased potential for really screwing the pooch if you know what I mean.

Maybe with pics of the parts I'll have a better idea of what I'm dealing with.

The outer piece on the left has two of the air holes that you see. The inner piece on the right has two of the slotted air holes and one small hole. It can be configured for duel coils using both slotted. It can be configured for a single coil with one slotted and it can be configured for a single coil with the small air hole.

I am not sure what size o-ring but I have 8 cyclones some with AFC's and some without and never had a o-ring failure.

If you get one from Catfish atty they are already converted to BF and work great.

Hope this helps you

Is that an exploded view of a rifle?

Yes your description has helped much. If I understand things correctly there are two slots in the outer section and two slots plus one hole on the inner ring.

Thus slots inner and outer aligned = dual coil?
And one outer slot and the small inner hole = single coil?

It is an exploded vie wot the M1 Garand...

You can also use one single slotted for a single coil. It is very user friendly for whatever coil/coils you build.

The cyclone AFC slots are not 180 degrees apart, this allows you to have one or both inner holes line up with the outer.

The black bars represent the air slots.
