I have started using my wife's ultra sonic jewelry cleaner for speed steeping. Whenever I receive new juice, I take the caps off and put them in the cleaner for a 30 minute cycle. Seems to work pretty well.

Be careful doing that. Don't let the juice get hot, heat kills juice dead...

You can get the same effect by putting the glass bottle in a thermos, pouring in hot water (hot to the touch, not scalding), closing it up and letting it sit overnight. That being said, whether using a ultra sonic cleaner or thermos or crock pot, you are exposing your juice to heat which can dramatically reduce and alter flavor. Sometimes it is immediate, sometimes it is a month later.

Like Megan said, I'm a little freaked out by putting much heat with the juice. I use the USC solely for the agitation. I have also found that it does a fantastic job at cleaning atties and mech parts. I'm not going to lie....I've pretty much commandeered the ultra sonic cleaner. Here recently I've been using it far more than my wife has.

I love my USC for cleaning atties and parts. I use a sawzall for mixing. It comes out looking creamy but only because of the air bubbles have been reduced in size. It settles after a day. Cuts out amount of time shaking as I only have to do this once a week for DIY and only once with my NT bottles.
