I have the SX and subjectively it hits like my 5.0 volt 2 amp passthrough at 4.3 setting. My max. settings are:
510 2.3ohm 4.3v
901 2.8ohm 4.3v(maybe 4.5 if soaking wet)
801 2.8ohm 4.5v
That's why I want the .4 voltage reduction.

I have no idea how long it lasts. Certainly more than a day but it is so easy to just plug in I do so at bedtime.

Elendil - Was following a thread about the AFS and the FP in another venue. Nuck stated that the AFS was working fine, no leaks. However, he did say
My biggest concern with the AFS is the size and weight. Its quite heavy and puts quite a bit of stress on the atomizer connection. If you were to give the AFS a sharp crack with that much leverage I would be very concerned the connector threads would shear. If you use the AFS with the Fist Pack...please be careful

Yeah that makes sense and it is pretty much true of any mod that I would have the AFS attached to. Advising caution is very wise indeed.

Like I tell my son... I know that you know, but the Mother's Handbook still requires that I state the obvious. :)

Meanwhile... preparing to stalk the mailman sometime next week for my shiny, new SX Fist Pack!!

Yeah, I hear you. But it is good advice, especially if someone has not owned an AFS yet. It's a great device, but there can be issues if not used carefully........

I just got mine today. Cool little mod. The AFS V2 is pretty unwieldy, but not so bad. But you gotta be careful, like Elendil said.

My .... puckers everytime one of my mods tips anyhow, matters not if its carto, atty or AFS. If a mod hits just right, its a disaster. My wife managed to crack the threads on her GGslim the other day, with little effort, it hit "just" right.

The V1 AFS seems to be a bit safer on this mod though, not quite so top heavy and has a lower center of gravity.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have time and energy after work to make a little write up on the Fistpack+AFSs.
